I have been dead on with these Tigers all year and I have pretty much hit the final scores of all their games by a few points or so.

I have said it time and time again....... If you want to beat this LSU team you have to pass on them. They have the #1 Defensive Line in the Nation. Nobody, I don't care if your the Green Waves of Tulane of the Saints of New Orleans but NOBODY runs on this team.

If LSU was to face USC it Would have been close till half but the weapons that USC has would have ripped LSU a new one. USC would destroy LSU no questions asked. Now, Thanks to the BCS....... LSU will be the National Champion. Why???? Because they won't have to face USC.

USC will lose to Michigan and LSU will beat the Sooners leaving to the imagination on who really is the best team in the Nation. Yes, on paper LSU will be # 1 but are they really the best team in the Nation???

The Hype of playing for an National Championship has Louisiana Buzzing. The Tigers are playing as good of Football right now as anybody. The Sooners were exposed. And their QB is suppose to be the Heisman????

If he thinks he had a rough time against K State his nightmares have only begun. A lil pressure and he will quack as evidence of Saturday night.

Just like in gambling a win is a win no matter how you get it. I guess being the National Champions is the same way.

LSU 24
Sooners 14

For the Sooners sake I would hope we would see a different team. Then again, why would we? They were only playing for a Championship on Saturday. Hell, if you can't bring your A TEAM to win your division then why would you bring it to another Championship game.

I think we all saw how good these Sooners are when they faced a relentless defense.

Can you say EXPOSED.

To save face I think the Sooners have to put a better effort.

I just don't think their High Powered Offensive can play with these Tigers "D"

Kstate dline who lead the nation in sacks really gave OU problems;; oh yea right OU gave up one sack and had 400 yards of offense. I am sure the number team in the nation in scoring is quaking in their cleats. I am sure they will get fixed what they need to get fixed. LSU defense is by far better than USC but I think OU's skill position players match up as well as USC
Good luck on your play; should be a close game; sincerely doubt thought LSU holds OU to 2 tds but again that why they play the game

Well, for the #1 scoring team in the Nation how many Defenses have they faced that are ranked in the top 5????

With some of the D's that they played I sure hope they would put up the points that they did for being the best team in the Nation.

Just wait and see. If they thought K States "D" was good, then they are in for a very long night. Can the Heisman take a back to back pounding?

If they come out and hang 40 on LSU then I would say yes they are the Best team in the Nation. Then again, I can't recall anybody destroying LSU this year.

A 12 point loss embarassing? They did get out played but they were not playing for a SEC Championship either. Now playing for a Big 12 Championship and getting a 28 spot hung on you when your the #1 team in the Nation...... Now that's priceless.

OU goes down in a low scoring affair.

Fla beat LSU 2 months ago, this is a different team. LSU D will dominate, OU D will put up a good effort, but I feel that the Tigers win handily with an almost home field advantage. Tiger fans are louder than hell, we were louder than UGA fans while holding less than 1/3 of the seats at the Georgia Dome. Look out sooners, our front 4 is the BEST in the nation and Saban is a defensive guru.

Matt Mauck record as a starter 17-2, look for 18-2 after the Sugar Bowl.;)

LSU 20 OU 10

Ou's d line with Dvor, Harris, and Cody are a bunch of chumps; LSU dline is waaaay better. Mauck will have a field day on Strait and Everage. Yeaaaaaaaa right. Good luck you will need it. I will bet my entire account LSU does not hold OU to 10 points that is the homer in you talking and you know it.

OU was held to a TD by K St, and I feel that LSU is the best D in the nation. Offensively we are very fast({especially @RB and WR), but defensively we fly. OU is in for a big surprise. Last season UT kicked our butts in the Cotton Bowl, without our 17-2 starting QB, M Mauck. We'll see how it plays out against the 2nd best team in the BIG XII with our leader behind the helm. Alabama HC M Shula claims that our D was MUCH faster and more physical than the OU D. Let's see what happens on Jan 4th.

We will run on OU and we will have Corey Webster locked up on Mark Clayton all night. I said it before the SEC championship and I'll say it again now: Many so-called experts, including many solid cappers on this forum, will lose a lot of money betting against this LSU team. I have watched as much college football in my day as anyone else and this team is GREAT, not good----GREAT.

Your response is so homer; do you really think OU is the 2nd best team in the Big XII; and I really hope they try to put one person on Mark Clayton that seems to be really working for all the other teams OU has faced; and unless LSU has no turnovers like Kstate did; have OU miss 2 field goals and OU has to come away with nothing on two 1st and goals then OU should put up at least 28-31 pts; Mauck will throw at least 2 picks in this game which will turn into points and didnt Kstate come into the game leading the nation in Sacks. How many did OU give up?? wasnt it one sack. It should be a good game but if you really think LSU can hold OU under 2 tds you are sorely mistaken; it should be a good game and people like you and everyone in the media saying OU does not deserve to be in this game will be all the motivation they need to play like they have all year. Also can I please see that quote that Shula said they were MUCH faster think you may be going homer there and by the way LSU is a good team but GREAT teams dont lose by double digits at HOME.

Last thing you keep talking about the KSTate game what about OU being held to 65 points by the number 6 team in the BCS
I hope you are not relying all your handicapping on one game because that is a recipe for disaster. I plan on laying off this game but I would not even think about playing against OU coming off a loss with everyone saying that dont belong and dont have a chance we all saw what happened in the NC game a few years ago when they went up against the Number 1 ranked offense in the nation and FSU put up a 2 spot. And the scary thing is this defense is better.

Yes, I am an LSU fan. Obviously, you are an OU fan. Please relax, take a deep breath and get a life. Let's just see what happens in the game.

I have never attacked you, and would like for you to understand that your last 2 posts are in the form of Scott4USC.

One final point, LSU should not be playing OU, because USC deserves that spot.

By the way, you are now with Scott on my ignore list because you bore me.

Good Day:weed:

The Shula quote, I must add, said that we were faster defensively than OU, but he also said that if OU is #1, then LSU was a close #2. Does that make you happy?

Not only did Shula claim LSU to be faster defensively than OU, but La Tech QB claimed that we were faster than Miami and Arizona players claimed that we were faster than USC. Does any of that mean anything, not to me it doesn't. Just passsing along some honest info and I do not appreciate you questioning my integrity.

I am steamed that you, BBK, have the nerve to question my integrity because you did not like what was being said about your team. Why don't put this in your pipe and smoke it, dip$hit.

Tigers winning praise of teams they've left in their wake throughout the season.

The pollsters are partial to Southern California. When the computers are done calculating, they spit out Ohio State.
About the only constituency that doesn't get a say in determining which team is in the best position to play Oklahoma for the national championship in the Sugar Bowl is the players.
That's where LSU is starting to garner a lot of support.
"They're every bit as good as Oklahoma," Alabama quarterback Brodie Croyle said.
And the Crimson Tide should know. They gave Oklahoma its toughest test so far, losing 20-13 at home on Sept. 6. Alabama couldn't hang with LSU at all, falling 27-3 Saturday night.
"They're both pretty much the same," offensive lineman Atlas Herrion said. "LSU's front seven is a little bigger. They've got speed just like Oklahoma has speed. They've got big names just like Oklahoma has big names."
Being better than Oklahoma doesn't matter at this point. If the Tigers can make it to second in the BCS standings, they'll get the chance to prove that in the Sugar Bowl.
LSU needs to beat out USC and Ohio State. And the Tigers have at least one supporter saying they're better than the second-place Trojans.
"I thought they were really good," Arizona's Clay Hart said about USC after the Trojans beat the Wildcats 45-0 Saturday. "But personally, I think LSU was the best team we've faced since I've been a Wildcat."
LSU pounded Arizona 59-13 the second game of the season.
So how is a team that, according to Alabama coach Mike Shula, is "neck and neck" with unanimous No. 1 Oklahoma only fourth in the BCS standings?
