Providence +6
I see alot of value here on a friar team returning all 5 players off their 18 win squad which lost in the second round of the nit a year ago. This team is as deep as any in the bigeastand are picked as high as 4 in some bigeast magazines. I show Illanois with a slight edge In the backcourt returning 4 players off a tough 25 win team. Ofcourse the player not returning is Brian Cook who averaged 20 points and 7.5 pts per game, they also lost one of the best coaches in the game. This is a tough spot for the illini. My power numbers show Illinois 59 Providence 56 throw in a couple of points for a pro friar crowd at the garden, and you take the points.

Also love Northern Iowa Getting the 5. Gman ia also on this so I won't go into to much detail here, as he did a great Job capping this.
Northern Iowa returns 5 starters and actually has a frontcourt edge on Iowa. As Gman wrote Northern Iowas makes its freethrows and Iowa are masons. Northern Iowa also has a slight edge in depth. My Power numbers come up: Iowa 48 Northern Iowa 45. Throw in Homefield advantage and a fired up crowd. You will not need the 5.

Texas returns 4 starters and a world of depth from their 26 win team from a year ago. Sadly the player they lose was the best poit guard in the nation. Tonight they have a solid edge up front against Arizona, and a huge depth advantage.
I'll lay the twoand a hook as my numbers come up with texas favored by 6.5.

Temple +7.5
My Power numbers come up Temple 60 to asu 44. I then even give asu 5 points for the Pseudo homefield advantage. That gives me Adjusted numbers of Temple 60 to 49. The way my numbers work if a team is 11 points better that means Id lay up to half of that, In this case Id lay 5.5 with Temple theoretically.
How much value am I getting at +7.5? Alot.
Temple has experience and depth advatage as well as a backcourt advantage slight frontcourt advantage, as well as John Cganey and the old matchup zone to slow things dowm.
