Going to the Nati this weekend for the 49ers v. Bengals game on Sunday. Heading down on Saturday and although I am on the cusp of getting engaged, my boys and I were looking to hit on some of Cincy's finest ladies. Any suggestions on where to go from Cincy residents or others who have visited?

I have heard about Main St. District, Mt. Adams, Newport on the Levee Kentucky, etc. Any particular bars/clubs?

Thanks in advance.

Haven't lived there for over 3 years, but I always preferred the Mt. Adams area over the Main St. strip of bars. I prefer pubs and a more layed back atmosphere, though. If you want clubs, you need to go to Main St.

The Blind Lemon is a pretty famous place in Mt. Adams. Great place to sit back and have a drink.

Thanks dawgball...we might try Mt. Adams or Newport on the Levee across the way in Covington. Here there is a club there called Empire. Any hot chicks at this Blind Lemon? :D

Lemon's not really a place to find women. Just a good bar.

I actually lived just across the river in Covington (about two blocks down from the river). Empire wasn't there, but those bars were changing names weekly when I was there.

Check out O-Malleys in the alley!! It is just off of Race St. across from the stadium. Not much on hot babes but great for food before the game. Also, check out Mt. Adams Pavillion. You'll get a great view of Cincy from there!! Lots of babes at Sleep Out Louies across the river. Any cabbie can easily take you to any of the above three!! Have a great time and don't piss off the police!! JJ:D

jjhale, used to hang out at O'Malley's (the pub formerly known as Ogdens) after work as my office was in the PNC Tower. Very good chips and dip. However, wont be a soul in there on Saturday night. Will have a nice Bengal crowd before the game.

You may want to try the following downtown bars; In Between, Fifth and Vine, Nicholsons and/or Rock Bottom on Sunday late morning before the game. Should have nice football crowds (game is sold out).

Loophole. Do they allow attorneys not admitted in North Carolina who make an appearance pro hac vice to now wear shoes in North Carolina courtrooms? Or are we still required to remove them prior to entering the courtroom so that we don't show up local counsel?

Eddie: 5th and Vine? That is mighty close to your office;)

----and leave Loop alone. He is a hard working, ethical legal counsel.

P.S. How much did they rent tent space for in the projects during the lastest cop/criminal pumulting? Bet your glad to be back home but at same token sad as I am sure you were looking forward to a little Christmas bonus that never developed.:)

Happy "winter" holidays

Dogs:

I'm going to have to get a civil protection order against you unless you stop stalking me. How in the name of William F. Buckley did you know that the 5th and Vine bar is near my office? Loop ..... a hard working ethical attorney? I thought, according to you, such a concept was (like the theme of Loops post) an oxymoron?

Now just leave me alone and spin your anti-american drivel elsewhere and let me take whatever shots I want to at our less educated southern neighbors. Opps................sorry, I forgot.

eddie, shoes are now optional in nc courts so as to encourage some amount of cultural diversity among the trial bar. however, the minions of political correctness have compelled the removal of spittoons in the courtroom, so you must now bring your own if your want to chew between arguments.

with the cincinnatti bar at the cutting edge of civil rights advocacy, i was pleased to see that the local gendarmes are now restricted to no more that six kel-light strikes to the head in order to subdue the uncooperative. you should be commended.

Thank you loop for that update on North Carolina courtroom decorum. I will note the recent amendment in your local rules and make sure I remember to bring my spitoon, shoes and other accessories (gun, gun rack, pick-up, carton of Winstons, my cousin/wife and other various and sundry toiletries, sans toothbrush) the next time my volunteer lawyers for the poor association brings me to your jurisdiction to handle a pro bono case.

I find your knowledge of Cincinnati police/civilian relations both well-reasoned as well as accurate. In my last, 1983 action before the Honorable Hermann Goering, Jr. in Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, wherein the jury returned a verdict in favor the Cincinnati Police Department, I recall the judges voir dire of the jury wherein I was quite astounded that the majority of our citizens in southern Ohio originated from the hills of North Carolina and moved here in the 19th century in search of work in the Cincinnati stockyards.

Now for the colorful part of this post. Seems as though as long as our men in blue continue to beat our citizens in black, causing the red to flow, our civil rights bretheren will be in green.
