I am willing to run this tournament since I already have the spreadsheet built, but I have nothing to offer as far as prizes. The rules are as follows. This thread will be for questions and comments only. There will be another post for everyone's picks. It will be free to enter. If someone wants to offer a prize that is up to them to offer and deliver.

I hope there are some that are interested.

2003-2004 SEC Bowling Tournament

This contest is set up to use a scoring system similar to the sport of bowling. All bowl games where an SEC team is playing plus the remaining BCS bowls make up the 10 frames. The order of frames was determined by the day and time that the bowl game will occur. The complete list of games and lines is attached and can be printed.

The Music City Bowl between Auburn and Wisconsin is the first frame. You will pick the team who you think will cover the spread provided. If your team does not cover, you have rolled a gutter ball and get zero points for that frame. If your team covers, you receive five points for picking the winner against the spread PLUS the number of points that your team covers by PLUS your next frame's score (working like a spare in bowling). Only the points from the very next frame will be added to the current frame's score. Pushes (or ties Against The Spread) will be awarded 3 points to everyone, so the people counting on the carry-over from the previous frame will be rewarded.

Entries must be posted by the start of the Music City Bowl (December 31, noon EST).

Frame

1 Music City Auburn -3

2 Independence Arkansas -2.5

3 Outback Florida -3.5

4 Capital One Georgia -3

5 Rose USC -6.5

6 Orange FSU -2

7 Cotton Ole Miss -2

8 Peach Tennessee -5

9 Fiesta Kansas St. -7

10 Sugar Oklahoma -6

These lines will change in the thread that I will post on Monday. The thread posted on Monday will be the final lines used.

I'll participate in your contest. Sounds great and thanks for volunteering your time to run the contest. The bowling aspect is an interesting way to score it. Thanks again.

Great. Like I said, I will be posting another thread on Monday where everyone can post their plays. Actually, the lines will be the same as above because the spreadsheet is already built with those lines for the pay contest that I am hosting with it.

Good luck, and I hope to see several more here that are interested!
