florida international tonight? game didnt stand out at first but the more i look at it, the more i think this could be an fau cover.
stanford has been a covering machine lately, but theyre in their own semi-sandwich spot. the game vs unlv on saturday (stanford was never really "threatened" in that one per se, but at least a competitive gm vs a respectable opponent) and then theyve got a big game vs gonzaga later this week. theyre laying a shitload of points tonight. fau's numbers dont look all that bad. certainly not a good team but they havent been drilled in any games theyve played. this is obviously their biggest test, but theyre at least competitive. theyve got some scoring punch. id think stanford will try to rest some bodies (as theyre already a little thin on the bench) with the uptempo zags coming up. only thing im not thrilled about is fau's cross-country travel
anyone else have an opinion on this one?
