Eggnog
(It's GREAT)

1 quart whole milk
1 quart half & half
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
6 eggs, separated
2 teaspoons vanilla
nutmeg
6 teaspoons sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 to 1 cup Bourbon

Separate eggs, placing whites in a large, grese-free bowl....yolks in a medium-sized bowl.

With whisk, blend sugar and flour in a large saucepan.
Add milk gradually, whisking to combine. Add half & half.
Cook on medium heat, whisking constantly, to boiling. Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Beat egg yolks thoroughly until pale and thick, then pour some of the hot milk mixture in and combine.
Return milk mixture to the stove, and add egg mixture, whisking constantly. Cook and whisk until it comes to a boil, and let boil for one
minute.

Remove from heat and cool in refrigerator ...preferably overnight.

When ready to serve, stir in whipping cream and bourbon.
Beat egg whites until stiff, slowly beating in the 6 teaspoons of sugar.
Fold egg whites into chilled eggnog.

Sprinkle individual servings with nutmeg.

How much Jack Daniels and Bacardi Rum do you add into it? Thanks for sharing your recipe. Happy Holidays.

8 oz of a good already made (store bought) eggnog. {this way you do not have to make from scratch}

2 oz brandy

1 oz rum

put into blender or shaker and add ice and a dash of nutmeg.

Best spiked eggnog I have ever had!!!

Fast, easy, and will knock your socks off.

I actually judge the ounces by guess. Take a sip and add liquor or eggnog when needed.

Some like to subtract the brandy and add bourbon or whisky. Whatever you like the best.

Happy Holidays!!!
