Dallas at Boston

Folks...call it what you will...this game is a mismatch. Dallas spotting a mere 2.5 on the road to a Celtics team that is in absolute disarray. I'm a season ticket holder for the Green :banghead: and it's not pretty. On Monday, the night they retired Cedric Maxwell's number, the Celtics were blow away by Minnesota. I apologize for not posting this one, as it was one of my bigger plays all year. I normally stay away from basketball, but the team was due for a win to begin with, and had just traded away Williams, Battie and Brown, who all share significant playing time. Well, here comes part 2....Enter Antoine Walker, stage left. Did he drive the fans up here nuts sometimes? Yes. Was he a talent. Yes. Does he like Ainge? No. Will he seek Revenge? Yes. Got in on the Mavs at -2.5, and saw it at 3. I think you'd be safe at 6 to be honest. Just can't see this one being close at all!

Like i said, I usually tread lightly, if I play hoops at all, but this one.....LOCK AND LOAD.

every year i wait for new jersey to come to town and dallas and i unload on each game...

lines are usually 2 or 3 points ....

these teams that "really run" rather than just talk about ..give boston huge match up problems.. (at least when NJ did run)......

what bothers me about this game this year..

1.) new players....who knows how this team will look with these guys ....we can only speculate...common sense tells me that its going to take a while for them to get acclimated to the offense and coach o'briens style....especially since they have not practiced with these players...

2.) usually...and surprisngly..i usually see consensus sites at around 50/50 or a little for boston...

but because of the timing of the trade and the terrible performance the other night..i am seeing lots of numbers on dallas ..which always makes me weary..

3.) dallas has been incredibly inconsistent on the road...

dallas has not looked good on the road thus far......but of course boston is not .500 at home either...


im watching the numbers on dallas and the spread...before i make a play here..
