Going to keep all my plays in one thread,

I hope to get off to a good start especially on these early bowl games.

Good luck to you all!!

NT@ Memphis

I am leaning towards NT for a small play in this one. This is the third year in a row that NT has gone to New Orleans, so they are a seasoned bowl team. With Memphis missing their star running back, I see them with a disadvantage in this game. NT should be able to run the ball all night long and pull out the victory. I am taking the 4 points and rolling with NT.

PLAY:
NT +4 (-111)
$111-$100

Will have a nice write up for Thursday's game. Actually, it will be my top bowl play.

AL,

Parents have a pod down there since 1995 (Nuevo Vallarta). Water is drinkable surprisingly...Been going there every year since 95 and I LOVE IT..parents usually go 2-3 times a year and not once have they been sick.

Never go down there during the summer months though...you'll be spending more time in your room than on the beach.

GL on your bowl selections this year and a merry x-mas to you and your lovely wife..all the best

Regards,
:)

This is a huge number for these two non BCS conference teams. I do not care how many points Ben R and the 4th ranked MIA O offense can piut up on a rather weak Luis Def. The key point in this game is that MIA O has the 26th ranked Def in the country and will not allow Louis and their QB Stefan (I dropped the ball) Lefors to run wild. These two teams both averaged only 61 total points in all their games this year. Louis only exceeded this total 3 times and Mia O 4. Louis will haev a 20 day layoff going tinto this game and Mia O 14. usually when two teams come off a long layoff, offenses tend to struggle.

Thisis my top play for the bowls, hopefully it is a winner, bet wisely and only wager what you can afford to lose.

Cheers
;)

TCU-BOISE ST OVER 58.5

$770- $700

I had this originally down as a 4 uit play, but the total has dropped and after reading several articles, I am really liking the OVER here...

This is the inaugural Fort Worth Bowl and what better way to get it started than to invite the team from Fort Worth, TCU. In fact, the game will be played at Amon G. Carter Stadium, TCU?s home field. Their opponent, Boise St., knows what it is like to play in a local bowl, having participated in Boise?s Humanitarian Bowl the last three years. The Fort Worth Bowl has an affiliation with the Big Twelve Conference, but since two Big Twelve teams were invitied to the BCS, everybody moved up a notch and it opened the door for WAC champ Boise St. TCU finished the year 11-1 and was flirting with a BCS bid until S.Mississippi blew them out. To play in the Fort Worth Bowl a month after you could have played in the Orange Bowl had you won the remaining games has to be deflating for TCU. Nonetheless, this really shapes up to be a great bowl game. Two nationally ranked non-BCS schools, one 11-1 and the other 12-1. Both teams, especially Boise St., behind senior quarterback Ryan Dinwiddie and the 5th ranked passing offense in the country, love to score points. TCU has been over five of six overall this season and Boise St. has been over six of seven. TCU, behind running back Robert Merrill, has the 29th ranked rushing offense. Boise St. may score close to the total by themselves, however, I am not saying they will win the game.
