Well, yesterday was humbling as Wyoming comes back from a 21 point deficit to cut it to 3 with a minute to go yet cannot make the comeback complete leaving us in the negative for the day. On to Tuesday:
Georgia Tech laying 15 first half over Marist average
Perhaps a silly play for many, but I see this as an excellent spot for Tech to come out and rout this Marist team early. Both teams played home games on Sunday but Marist had to make the trip down to play Tech for this early Tuesday trip. You may think the game would have a small crowd so Tech would be playing for nothing but instead the game is sold out and designed to bring out kids to the game in order to raise toys for tots. Tech will likely come close to covering the game spread in the first half before shutting it down in the second half. There isn't a book that can set the first half line high enough in this one.
Vegas set this line at 24 and it has been hit up to 27.5 at most books. Again, I think we see the best effort come in the first half on both sides of the ball (especiallyd defense) before the starters take a seat and enjoy watching their teammates on the floor.
More to come. . . like Illinois as Wizzard already pointed out.
