I'm on Indy -7?. Staying a mile away from the Bengals. They are going to beat themselves today. Far too nervous.
Double down... a -6.5 is the same as a -7.5 or 8. Colts are down by 7. They can't cover the 7 without winning the game. So why lay the juice.
Magic - There is the remote possibility that the game could end in a tie...so not quite the same thing. But I agree, not worth laying 3x the juice just to cover that chance. The NFL averages about one tie game per year.

Why 4? Topdog? To me that seems like a complete waste of juice. 7 point game (at least at the half it was)...if Houston wins by a FG you still don't win. If you're going to lay all that extra juice you gotta at least get it to 4!
My bad, I thought you bought it to 4?. I guess that's what you were offered and you probably weren't allowed to buy. Man, ugly line. I just hate paying extra juice... anything over -130 is REALLY REALLY rare for me.

GM, I used the 2nd half play to offset my Colts -9 game play. As it turned out I lost one and won the other to the price of the juice as you pointed out!! I also find that what I lack in capping, I offset by a good read on the games I get to watch in the first half.
