feel like there is a very realistic shot to hit 2 of 3:

1 unit....pittsburgh (+290)
1 unit....cleveland (+330)
1 unit....houston (+300)
add: 1 unit...cleveland 2h (+5.5) (+100) (pinn)

*pittsburgh has owned baltimore in 6 of the L7 meetings. obviously steelers werent planning on playing for pride in week 17, but this is now their super bowl. that run defense is not gonna let lewis run crazy. game could be meaningless for baltimore depending on what happens w/cincy anyway

*the three times the browns were blown out this year, they responded well the next week. obviously the fact that theyve been blown out 3 times this year explains why theyre in the position theyre in. no doubt this is a different bengals team with lewis coaching, but still unchartered territory for this team. kinda think bengals might choke. suggs should see extensive time at running back for cleveland. couch still playing to solidify a chance to come back next yr.

*ive always considered houston the most dangerous dog in the nfl. the way theyve played the elite teams in the league lately is remarkable. a lot of teams just expect and easy win. texans put themselves in position to win damn near every home game. they just play hard every damn week. you never have a clue which indy team will show up on the road. its getting late in the season. time for manning to start choking

gman.....with all due respect my friend, I think you may be confusing college sports with the NFL. There 'aint no such thing as a "Super Bowl" for teams that suck like the Steelers and Browns. The Texans may be a bit different, playing at home and they have been decent. But as far as the Browns and Steelers go.....these guys are professionals, they dont need their ego stroked by beating the Bungles and Ravens. They are millionaires no matter what. There are intengibles that are not involved in college sports that come into play. Higher draft picks, etc. The Steelers and Browns will come and play the game, but there is no way that these guys give 100%....it isnt their fans, they aint going anywhere except their couch after this game, and both of these teams need high draft picks. Not saying that they are going to tank the game, but if you are expecting 110% effort, you may be looking in the wrong direction.

Just some thoughts.....good luck today man!

tease:

on the steelers game, we'll have to agree to disagree. i completely understand what your saying about college/pros. but steelers have owned that series and lewis going for the rushing record is motivation enough for pittsburgh. i dont think they mail in a game within the division. the game with teams playing outside their division with nothing to play for -- those are the games that are tricky. i think pittsburgh will be sharp. as far as the clowns/bengals- its more anti-cincy than anything. betting bengals get a little tight and play it close to the vest, giving cleveland a chance to stay in it. gl man!

I am on board with the pittsburgh game. I disagree with the big tease point of view. There has been alot of words being fliung this week and this would be very pivotal for the steelers to potebtially knock out baltimore from the playoffs. They match up well with Baltimore. About getting a draft pick, Pittsburgh would of shut it down weeks ago. These two teams hate each other, period. Pittsburgh sucks against the pass and have done well against JLewis in the past. That goes against the norm for Baltimore. I know Baltimore has thrown the ball around a little bit over the last few weeeks, but I believe Pittsburgh will create some turnovers. This is a momentum game to build on for next year. Cowher is a rah-rah coach, so trust me they will play hard. The players already said they would rather see Cincy make the playoffs. Not only that, which way would the square tease this play. Obviously, Baltimore down so therefore go the other way.

Good Luck to all for whatever you decide.

lol

lol

well, this "square" teased `em down.......and then took a piece of pittsburgh on the moneyline to make sure i get some return, regardless of the outcome.....

........ i `d be surprised if at least one of these didn`t come home....this is a prime spot for the brownies...road dog .....nobody giving them a shot.....

and jr is right about the steelers matching up against the ravens....surprisingly enough,i think kordell gave them more trouble than maddox...

and i agree with your comment on houston....a very dangerous home dog...

g.l. today...

added browns 2h play for 1 unit

bengals look like the bengals of old. mismanaging the clock, getting torched on defense. they just look tight. browns look to be playing loose and suggs is running the ball hard. clowns find a way in the 2h. all the pressure is on cincy now. thats not a team that knows how to handle it imo.
