Nothing complements an ice-cold beer like a perfectly frosted mug. Only 1 problem...I've yet to perfect the process. I figured out of all the beer drinking, sports wagering degenerates like myself ;) here at MJs someone should have the directions to get the best frost on a mug.

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Dip it in water and then put it in the freezer. Do Not dry it off before putting in frezer.(my way)

Wife says to just freeze the mug dry and then dip it in water real quick before pouring beer. That way it will keep the beer cold and also keep it from freezing.

Me, I like a litttle freezing on the top:D :D :D

In the past I've sprayed it in the freezer and it worked pretty well. I was just wondering if there was another method that works better.

Like at Outback for example, if anyone knows what I mean. I can never seem to get it that good.

Tx for the feedback :toast:

My friend who works at Outback says the temperature is much cooler than ours at home, thats why it have literally icicles on it. It sure does taste good too.

On the course!
"Dipping" it in water and freezing it, is not the correct way to do it. By doing this, you get water in the mug, too. When it thaws......you will water down the beer.

The best freezer is a subzero, but you most likely won't have one at home. The best way that I can think of, would be to place a dry mug in the freezer. After it is well frozen, take it out and run the outside of the glass under some cold tap water. Place the mug in the freezer upside down, and let re-freeze! The procees should be quicker, since the mug is already frozen.

Also, place the bottle of beer in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes prior to serving it. Can't be beat!

(......and I don't even drink!)
