I don't like to post GOYs because I am abit superstitious...but what the hell.:D

My favorite game of all the Bowls is:

Maryland -4 and
over 51

With all the talk about revenge, the bottom line is that Friedgen owns Rodriguez and WVU's rushing style just doesn;t do well against MD's fast, physical defense. McBrien always lights his former team up and this is his last game. Plus you have a healthy Bruce Perry and Friedgen has weeks and weeks to prepare. The Terps smashed tennessee last year, so why wouldn't they be able to beat WVU this year? WVU is going to have to make more plays in the air than its used to...I just don't see them getting it done here.

All the talk about how hard it is to beat a team twice is just that in my opinion. I could definitely be wrong, but this feels like a strong play.

I'm hitting this one hard, but always emember to stay within your means. GL to all you guys on all your plays and have a happy, healthy new year.:)

g.l.,bro....

g.l.,bro....

all the best to yourself and your family for 2004 and beyond....one of my favorite posters here...enjoy your opinions and sarcasm:D enormously....

i see the logic in your write-up.....does appear that this is a bad style match up for the `eers.....but,they have some serious momentum coming in.....with the terps recent history of domination vs w.va,could they be a little overconfident?......a little to sure? ....

i`ll take freidgen over rodriguez every time.....and west virginia is a little to one dimensional for my taste...

but,something has me leery here...

as always,i hope you hit it.....

Could not agree more. I am waiting since I think there are many WVU players out there. Bottom line is MD stops the run. Friedgen will have this team ready.

Good Luck!

Man, I thought WV would chip in at least a few points for the over. I got MD bigger than the total but the sweep would be lovely...two missed FGs didnt help either.

Hopefully MD pours it on in the 2h:shrug:

Nice capping on this one for the first half Jeff. . . hopefully the Terps continue to score for you and WVU puts up a few for your over. The points better come early though as the blowout factor looms.

you nailed this one dead on.....i didn`t touch it because of the revenge motive and w va`s recent streak......

i really think these blow-outs are coaching related ,more than anything else.....i know that`s no great revelation....but fridge over rodriguez is apparently,a stupendous mismatch....a multi-dimesional club vs a very one-dimensional club....kirk ferentz vs ron zook?...mismatch...the auburn game did not play to form(even though i understand some turnovers and poor officiating helped decide that game)....

i do wonder what would happen if fridge had the fla st`s scheduled later in the season.....if maryland might not be able to give `em a game....seems like the terps take a while to get going.....

whatever...just rambling.....great call...hope you hit it like a mack truck...

The Big East is just not good and the ACC is underrated. THe ACC could go undefeated in the Bowls. Hell, TN is ranked 7th in the nation and only a 5 point favorite over Clemson. It is about time the ACC gets some respect!

Florida State will continue the ACC's winning streak and the Big East losing streak.

I will be routing for more points in the second half!
