Ok - last one of the night. Let's make it a winner.
Kansas State has an exposive offense averaging almost 450 yards on offense. More than half of these yards are on the ground where Ohio State has an AMAZING rush defense only allowing 60 yards. K-State will be able to move the ball through the air though. For those of you that have even seen one OSU game this year - you have probably heard the term "tressel ball". Jim Tressel (Head coach for Ohio State) likes to slow down the game and plays field position. Ohio State's offense does NOT win games but instead lets their defense do the talking.
I believe the line is inflated in this game due to K-State's last game against Oklahoma and Ohio State's last game against Michigan where Chris Perry ran all over them. This line should be closer to 3.0 in my opinion.
Believe it or not, I believe this game will be similar to the FSU/Miami Bowl game. This game will not be one of those high scoring shoot-outs, yet will actually be kinda "boring". I live in the state of Ohio and unless you are a fan of the team, most people would not sit down to watch them because they are watching a totally defense minded squad.
If you bet OSU tonight and you haven't watched them this year, you will be very frustrated at their offense scheme (or lack there of) but just keep watching and you'll see that Tressel knows exactly what he is doing and he will make sure they do not lose two straight (which they haven't done since the year 2000).
My pick: OSU +7
Good luck to all. Your thought/opinions are appreciated.
