Even though Oklahoma demolished everyone in their path until running into the Kansas St buzzsaw, I look for LSU to win this game straight-up, and half of the National Championship along with it. The Sooners will never be able to run on the LSU defense, forcing White to win the game with his passing. Can he do it? I doubt it. The Tigers are loaded, and I consider them every bit as talented as the Sooners. Stoops is probably the best coach in college football at this point, but he will meet his match in Saben. Question is can LSU score on the Sooners' great defense? It won't be easy, but the Tigers have as good an OL as the Sooners have seen, and fleet RBs will be coming out of the woodwork. I also rate the Tigers' Clayton a bit higher than the Sooners' Clayton. You'll see why when you watch the game. We'll get to see the nation's top two DTs in the same game in LSU's Chad Lavalais and Oklahoma's Tommy Harris. In fact, there will be a lot of pro talent strutting their stuff. This will be one of the great championship games of our time, and I am looking forward to it very much. I look for a close, hard-fought game, with the Tigers coming out on top at the end.

I've done remarkably well on these teasers during the bowl season. It's something I started with MNF, winning most of them, and it carried over to the bowls. This seems to be a particularly strong one.

LSU could not score well against Ole Miss (and this was late in the year) and in their other high scoring games LSU benefited from turnovers. LSU QB is not very good either. OU will have the toughest defense LSU has seen all year which does not bode well for LSU offense which has been stopped/slowed down this season. Remember, LSU would have lost to Ole Miss if their great kicker did not miss 2 field goals. Is Ole Miss same caliber team as OU? Does OU have a better defense than Ole Miss? :shrug:

Will the OU offense turn the ball over? If yes, the LSU has chance to win, if not, how is LSU offense going to move the ball? Reason i say this is LSU has benefited from ton of turnovers in all their blowouts. Watch the Arkansas game, it was all tied up until Arky turned the ball over and then LSU dominated.

Then you have OU who was a very over-rated team this year. They could not win conference and KSU dominated them while KSU was dominated by Ohio St. So how good is OU? Better question might be, how bad is OU?

I disagree with you and think this is a terrible national championship game. Where is all the hype? There is none.

These are things I think you need to watch out for. I am not telling you your pick is right or wrong, I am just throwing out another opinion.

Most of the services have given Oklahoma as a big play tonight. Yet the line has gone down to 6. Interesting.

KState also DOMINATED the same Cal team that, if I remember correctly, beat your unbeatable Trojans. Exlain that shit.

Obviously you do not know/watch football or these particular games. USC lost to CAL @ CAL int triple OT early in the year. (USC is very very young team). USC would not lose to any team in the nation at the end of the year (which is 10x more important). CAL lost to KSU in Kansas City, 1st game of the year. OU lost to KSU at the very end of the year. HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE. I am a believer in teams should be playing their best football at the end of the year. Many teams (like USC) start many young frosh/soph or breaking in new QB's. This was a rebuilding year for USC, so next year USC will start the year off with a bang. Yep, this was a re-building year. Oh yeah, CAL played KSU a lot tougher than OU.

Lastly, I said OU was over-rated because many said they were one of the best college football teams ever. I knew that was simply untrue. OU is still a very good football team, just not the best team in the nation.

Now go read my post again and read yours. Your post brings nothing helpful to NY REB's thread or other madjack readers.

I do not mean to start any arguments into your thread, i just stated an opinion on the game. I always look for your plays and feel your one of the better cappers here at madjacks. What i enjoy most about your threads/picks is you always give reasonings behind your plays. I very much appreciate that and always find it helpfull, even if i am on the other side.

GOOD LUCK! I have not yet decided on who i am playing in this game.

Guys, at two hours before gametime, I now consider this play on LSU as a 15* GOY type play. Anyone who might have lost money on my picks yesterday can win it all back on this play. At least, that's how strongly I feel about this game.

I've liked LSU since the line came out Reb but you listen to others' opinions and it kind of sways you a little bit. Too much info is a bad thing. I like how you're sticking to your guns and :firing:

Your looking good NY REB after 1q. I went with OU ML :cry:

I think Michigan could beat either of these teams. Both look awful. Not disciplined at all. White would not start at QB at USC. I am 100% on that.

I feel confident LSU could handle Michigan. The game I want to see is LSU and USC. They should add the stipulation that to be in this game you must win your conference championship.

Appreciate those of you who did check in and especially to those who contributed to the thread. I hope you all made money. (Except Scott, who for some reason thought OK would win the game:)

Well, bowl season began slowly for me, but ended with a bang. Went 3-1 in last 4 bowls I played, and 3-1 in last 4 teasers. Made up for a so-so New Year's Day. All in all, a very profitable football season this year. Hope all of you also cashed, and I'm looking forward to an even better season next year.

I'll be focusing on college baskets now, and hope to see many of you on my threads over there.

Congrats on a great day of capping!! I did view and read your post, and I also won on the game, Side, Total,, and 2nd half side!! I did lose my chance at the middle in the second half total.

I for one really appreciate your work and the conviction that you show while describing plays. The only reason you didn't get more views on your thread was because most believed you were on the wrong side.........and as for me......I bet this game on December 8th, 2003.......when Cajun posted it, along with a score that showed the side and total!! LOL!!
