i would have to agree on stoops getting outcoached. the way he's coached his team the L2 games makes me wonder if ive overestimated him in terms of his coaching. i understand hes won a national title and has dominated teams the L3 yrs (more than most coaches do in a lifetime) but at the same time, i felt going in that no coach in the nation was anywhere near him. definitely reconsidering. i mean oklahoma has gotten completely dominated in their L2 games, and this one he had a month to prepare for

I agree G-Man, i held Stoops in high regard. Not only is he getting outcoached, his team is not disciplined at all. I tip my hat to Saban, i did not think he was that great of a coach but his defense is impressing me tonight. But remember, LSU is benefiting from OU commiting penalties. LSU easily had 2 turnovers, but were saved by the flags. Could be a totally different football game. Also the offensive playcalling is horrible for OU. Why are the OU WR running deep routes when LSU is blitzing? Every WR is running at least 15yard routes. Makes no sense, and OU never runs the ball, even when they were having success in the 1h. BTW, White sucks.

Finally the OU offensive coordinator has called a good play. That QB sneak by white was great call. Nobody expected that. But i continue to ask, why is OU running 15-25yard routes when LSU is a blitzing defense?
If Lsu "brings the house" , i dont think having the wideouts run a straight go is bad, Okie should be releasing a back tho, as i have seen Lsu get exposed many times this year by the other team simply releasing a back and they get burned bad

seriously, if they would release the back...but he isn't smart enough to see who's blitzing...anyway, it seems as if OU has momentum on their side now...they should've been put away in the third
If a team is blitzing you, especially sending many guys, throw shorter passes. Does OU have a tight end?
I know what USC would do, they would screen pass to WR's, throw to Reggie Bush out of backfield, and have WR run short routes. Throw short passes to tight end. Also LSU could not single cover Mike Williams plus USC OL is a lot better than OU's. Still would be fun to watch, but Norm Chow is a lot better OC than whoever is OU's. This OU OC is completely clueless.

You know what, I am not impressed by either team. How many times has OU been penalized which helps out LSU. LSU defense is very good, but if you keep making "STUPID" penalties, how are you going to win? OU keeps shooting themselves in the foot. In addition, LSU turned the ball over twice, but both times OU commited a penalty, and LSU got the ball back. White also gave LSU a free TD, and here we are in the 4th quarter, and LSU is up by a TD. So how lucky is LSU? How stupid is OU? These are the 2 best teams the BCS selected? :shrug:
