Three big plays:

Providence -1 over Texas
Colorado +3 over Kansas
Wisc. Mil. -3 over Detroit

Like them in this order but will play them all equal.

GL all!

just some feedback:

providence scares me for one reason....rebounding....they are a terrible rebounding team. if gomes doesnt snatch the board, then they dont get the rebound. texas hammers the boards. three guys with 7+ rebounds a game. very significant edge there. i like mcgrath and gomes, and i think providence is a solid club. but im real worried about the rebounding edge. i dont know how barnes has fared vs providence, but there certainly is that dynamic of him going back to providence

colorado definitely capable of winning that game. kansas sucks on the road this year....period. thats almost enough to consider the buffs. if im not mistaken, theyve come close to pulling upsets in boulder but havent gotten over the hump. maybe this yr?

uwm/det a tossup. titans defensive effort on saturday was absolutely balls out. easily the best ive seen watsons guys play on that end in awhile (and thats sayin something, considering they bust ass on D every game). milwaukee shoots the ball significantly better though. contrasting styles. if detroit controls the tempo, could be a tight game. but panthers do catch detroit in a bad spot- traveling after playing a low-scoring grind-it-out game in chicago on saturday. i am gonna wait till halftime to see who establishes their tempo

gl man. appreciate your work

Nice picks NB. I am waiting for the later line moves on these...

Providence-1
Colorado+3
Bradley+4.5

Hopping on these right now...

Nevada-1
Utah-13
Furman+3.5

I like the first three the best, but I think the lines will move in my favor. If Prov goes to -1.5, or -2, I'll be on it large. If it goes to +1 or more, it will just be an average play.

GL!

I'm confused here:confused:
If the Prov line moves up to -1.5 to -2 you'll play it large but if it drops in your favor at +1 or more, you'll play it small?? Please explain. :)

I would guess the line move play is based on the unrank team favored at home over any ranked team. If the line moves to providence plus points it would no longer fall under unranked over ranked. The unranked team must stay favored until tip off. This is just a guess to his reasoning.

Gman,

Take a closer look into those rebounding numbers! The Longhorns had huge rebounding edges against scrub teams. . . then when they played good teams they were out rebounded against Duke and only outrebounded a smaller Arizona team by two! I thought the same thing as you at first but then looked closer at the numbers.

I was at the UDM-UIC game on Saturday. UDM did have tremendous defensive effort. I will say, however, that they are one of the most ridiculous offensive teams I have ever seen. Very bad. UIC looked even worse, however, and there was clear dissention, sulking, and infighting on their bench. They have problems.

I lean Wisky-Mil tonight, because they can score, and if they get ahead of Detroit by more than 8 or so points, they will win. Good luck.

Colorado look

Colorado look

Last year Kansas did lose to Colo 59-60 but other than that Kansas has owned them. This is Kansas's lowest road fav line at +3 all year and looks like good value. What scares me is last two games Colorado has lost at home to Utah 57-77 and Richmond 62-75. Whats up with that? If those teams can pound em... could be a long night for Colo.

Nickel,
I went to the Texas - UTA game Friday night.
2 items of interest:
(1) B. Mouton did not suit up for the game. Don't know his status for tonight yet. (2) K. Paulino returned from the injured ranks and played the point gd. position very well. Juco transfer E. Moreno also plays the pt. and is progressing daily. With Paulino (T.J. Ford's backup last year) at the point, this allows R. Ivey to go back to the 2 gd. (his best position). Ivey will be much more effective there, and this change will make a definite improvement in UT's overall game, maybe not tonight but in the next game or two.

Thanks Kick. . . I'll take a look at it. . .

Just listening to Barnes on ESPN and he is 100% right: the ball was off before the light or buzzer. Technically the ball was still in his hand at all zeros, but you play the buzzer because the player cannot watch the darn clock when they take that final shot.

Probably another losing night here for the third in a row :(

At least we didn't lose all three I guess but I can't cap them any better than I have. . . sometimes you gotta lose.

Adding Pepperdine +7.5 2nd half above average over Utah

Pepperdine is giving Utah fits underneath forcing Utah to shoot from the outside. . . Utah hits 9 out of 14 from three yet only leads by 2. Pepperdine has the athletes and the better inside out game to keep this one close and within a single digit loss if they even lose.

Nickel I have lost five of your above average plays over the past couple of weeks. I know better to spot play and should play all your plays to make money, but I am stupid. Anyways I am not complaing at all. I just wanted to let you know I am putting 2 grand on your top play tomorrow;) Lets get them.

West Coast,

I appreciate the confidence, but I've been looking over the card and I gotta tell you that I don't like very much. . . maybe a couple first half plays. Strongest one I can find is New Mexico first half over San Diego. Lobos are playing very good basketball right now. However, I don't think you should put anything major on it. If I come up with anything I'll let you know but hopefully we'll have some large plays on Wednesday.
