split out the moneylines yesterday with ucla and ohio st. big shout goes out to tony stockman for his 4-18 shooting, which contributed to the bucks fold in the final 10:00. nice job buddy!

for monday:

1 unit....william/mary (+17.5) over virginia
purely situational. william/mary no prize, but virginia is in a power conference sandwich spot. cavs coming off a loss to providence but have huge acc games with duke and georgia tech in the coming days. virginia has all the talent in the world but theyre the most undisciplined team youll ever see. they led james madison by 30 in the 2h of a game a month ago and blew their 14.5 point chalk, winning by just 11 somehow. even though some might feel virginia is gonna lay it on will/mary after cavs had a shitty effort vs providence, i personally think theyre gonna be peeking ahead to duke and tech and be content with a 13-15 point win. billet is one of my favorite ncaa players, but i dont know how he co-exists with some of those brothers on virginia. small play on william+mary. cavs will probably hold a 20 pt lead at some point but theyll find a way to piss it down to 13-15

alright ill bite:

cleveland state 2h (-1.5)

strange 1h. loyola scores 20 points in the 1st 4:25 of the game. then csu settles in and makes a steady comeback. both teams bricking free throws, and there were lots of fouls the 1h. thankfully, csu's 2 main guys are in the clear in terms of fouls (robinson and westley with 0 and 1 foul) vikings hitting the boards and holding a significant edge there (31-20). csu has gotta find a way to win this game. westley and robinson playing solid ball tonight. westley has a double double at half.

Thought I was toast at the 10 min mark in the first half-have them -2 for the game so I'm standing pat-good luck on your play.

2h....detroit under 73.5
milwaukee held scoreless for the 1st 6:00 of the game. pace picked up after that but no way watson lets this game be played at the panthers pace in the 2h. doubt this game reaches the 70s

fu/ck me for being a retard and adding those two 2h bets when i knew damn well i shoulda stayed with the only play i liked tonight (william/mary). virginia looks totally unprepared and is biding their time until the duke game in a few days.

anyways:

adding....1 unit.....pepperdine (+13) over utah
definitely a game of contrasting styles. utah much more of a slowdown team whereas pepperdine wants to score 100 everytime out, even if they give up 95. but cant ignore a significant edge at the FT line with pepperdine. utah laying DD right before conference play is a little dangerous for them too. waves have been their usual enigmatic selves. never know what youre gonna get from them. i think they show up today. waves very similar to unlv, and the utes consistently struggle with em during conference play. waves/rebs both quick, athletic teams. i think pepperdine keeps this within 7-10 points.

virginia went from 16 to 17.5 right before game time. hoping the pepperdine line move is as wrong as the uva/william+mary line move.

side note: gamblin gods gave me a scare on the william+mary game. virginia up 1 point with under 8:00 to play and layin 17.5. never a good idea to mark it a W until that game is a final. virginia pushed that game out to 15 with 3:00 left before settling for a 13 point win.

think there's any chance of pepperdine upsetting the utes?

not particularly. i play all my dogs with the intention of them being able to legitimately stay in the game. pepperdine is capable of it. but theyre so undisciplined at times that they take away chances to win winnable games. coaching edge is significant here. talent actually favors pepperdine. waves much more athletic. utah just finds ways to win games at home, even when theyre on the ropes. but id be surprised if pepperdine ever trails this one by more than 15-16 at any point. by the way - go fu.ck yourself mjalam :tongue gl tonight with the late one

jmo, but pepperdine is gonna need the 13 at some point in the 2h. they took a little too many jump shots for my liking. they havent been pounding it inside to mcgowan like they should. those perimeter jumpers probably wont fall all night. love they way theyre playing, but not in a hurry to jump on the 2h line.
