can anyone provide a lucid and concise step-by-step for.....

posting pictures on this website (like KOD has been doing and like many do in their posts)

any help would be appreciated. the directions on the FAQ part of the site are ridiculously ambiguous.

all im trying to do is take some pictures from some websites and transfer em onto here.

click the IMG button to insert your post at the appropriate spot of your post- an Explorer User prompt field will pop up

go to the webpage that has image you want to post

right click on the image and click on Properties

highlight the Address- the one that begins with "http://..."

right click Copy

go back to the message post- in the Explorer User prompt field that popped up when you hit the IMG button- do a right click and Paste- this will put the address of the image into the field

click OK, finsh your post, submit and Enjoy your images

Right click on the picture

Hit "properties"

"Copy" the link it gives you

"Paste" the link in the post you are writing, between link [img] (The second img needs to have the slash infront of it...../img

There you go!

I found out where Scotty gets his TITFD plays.........

gman- you have to right click on the image and use that adddress in the Properties field, NOT the address of the web page itself

those Lebron images you're trying to post won't work since they're not gif or jpeg image file formats

when i right click on a picture and then click on properties, a box pops up entitled :

PROPERTIES
protocol
type
address
size dimensions


so far so good.

but all i can do is hit either "OK" or "Cancel"

what do i do with the properties pop-up? highlight what?

gman- highlight the address field by putting your cursor at the beginning of the address, hold the left button and highlight the address, leave it highlighted and right click, then click Copy

although i still cant figure out why i couldnt get my original picture to show up. the lebron thing said it was a JPEG file when i clicked on properties

at least im making progress and got something posted.

didnt know certain pictures will post and others wont

Some pictures are copy write protected, and others just don't format. You will find that out every once in a while.
