The guys who were shooting at that lion and each other before finally killing it did butcher and eat part of it that same night, and the rest was given to a local tribe. I also found out it was a canned hunt which I am totally against. That's where the hunting takes place in the confines of a high fence which is not sporting or ethical imo at all.
Below is a lion hunt of a different nature, with bow and arrow, face to face and close. I still don't have any desire to kill a lion, but if I did, this would be the way, with a bow. Is this challenging and dangerous enough for the anti-hunters here?
