all questions are always welcome!

my NBA totals system plays are a bit lucky yet it seems to have worked for the last month and a half....the MAJORITY of these plays are unders.....and depending on the team, i don't like totals that are lower than 175.

it's based on seeing certain team's O/U in their last 5 games and their last 10.

taken from the datebase i use.

for example:
I look for teams that have gone over in 1-2 of their last 5 games (no matter where they are played)...and then i go see if they have gone over in 4 or LESS in their last TEN games.

If they haven't, well it's a system UNDER play then.....not too much logic involved.

examples:

atlanta and toronto have gone over in 0 of their last 5 AND both have gone over 2 in their last 10.....

so these teams we would bet on the under the next time they played.....

the good part about this system is that team o /u's fluctuate and you usually won't be betting on the same teams for more than a week or two at a time....

i KNOW it's based on past performance but wth, the record doesn't lie.....it seems that these NBA teams and their totals are quite streaky. It's just figuring out when to get in on the BEGINNING of the streak.

I looked at doin the same thing for sides, but MAN, again, it's all about streaks.....you look at most NBA teams and their ATS record of MOST are pretty much close to .500
so if you break it down to home and away and days rest and stuff from covers.com, and you may get some better numbers there....

i'm just don't have time to do em.
:nono:

PS: i hate betting on overs....this system has been hitting the unders quite frequently....i haven't actually tried to do overs yet.

vigilante:

we're from the same capping school then. im a primarily under player as well.

thanks for taking the time to explain everything.

you are absolutely right. all pro sports teams (especially nba) tend to fluctuate throughout the year (in terms of ATS) but they settle in somewhere close to the .500 mark when its all said and done.

its all about finding streaks and tendencies within the yr itself

thanks again
