Any thoughts on the Zips tonight? First time this year the Zips are in really good health and Hollingsworth seems to be back in the groove? Also, I like Ohio to lay the wood to Buffalo, I saw the Bobcats play in Kent over the weekend and they played the Flashes pretty well for nearly the whole game.

MU - Cincy

MU - Cincy

Interested to know your thoughts behind taking Cincy to cover 5 at Marquette? MU has a great point guard in Diener that should handle Cincy's press and with the Bradley Center sold out as it is tonight, I think MU will be ready for this one. In addition, Cincy hasn't played a team with as good an overall defense to date as Marquette.

Update

Bought back Cinc bet, too many trends and good cappers on Marq to risk the play. Bergyshouse, this play was based on a system play that has been hitting well for the past few seasons this system has Cinc winning in a range on 11.5 to 13 points. I make look at the total play in this game as these teams have a solid history of playing under the number.

Replacing the Cinci play with Nebraska -6

TheGridiron:

I think the number on the Zips game (9) is a fair number, BGSU has not shown much this year as far as scoring but the Zips have been very erratic to back laying this many points. Hollinsworth is typical of the Zips program has a super game then disappears in a funk for the next three. On Ohio and Buffalo, pass for me I think Hellah has a GOY on OU. Both teams are bad and Buffalo has internal problems that may affect their play, but this Bobcat team may be the worst team out of Anthens in the past 25 years.

Wilson or any other Big East guys, what about Va Tech tonight, I see where WVU has dismissed Guard Drew Schifino their leading point per game guy. Will this have a big effect on them?

I Follow a lot of WVU b-ball and the Neers didn't have Drew last game against the Hoyas, so they can't use that excuse. They returned all five starters from lasts years squad. Last year WVU won this game but only by 4 points (w/#15). Tyrone Sally and Jerrah Young will have to pick up the scoring slack for Drew. Jamon Gordon for VT is out as well and he is a scoring threat at Guard.

So really the injuries kinda smash here:
Drew Schifino (17 ppg & 5 rpg)
Jamon Gordon (11 ppg & 6 rpg)
>>>IMO Schifino was more important leader on the team.

VT's best player is senior guard Bryant Matthews!
If WVU's zone Defense can contain Matthews and Guard Zabian Dowdell like they did Riley from G'Town they may cover the 8.
IMO 8.5 is a lot of points in this VT/WVU series.
Hope it helps
