I have not been able to find this yet. I think it is going to be one of them things that we don't know until game time. Maybe they are trying to keep the Eagles from preparing for him, then he shows up and plays. You know that routine.
I did call Carolina football headquarters :
I asked them is Davis going to play ? They said he is questionable.
So I said what about Foster will he play ?
They said
Tankity Tank Tank and hung up.

the line opened at Philly -5.5 and dropped to -4 in a day...I think it's a safe bet that Davis will play at least part of the game.
Could be one of those deals where they dress him and then take a wait-and-see approach.
If Foster's getting it done, and the defense is keeping Philly in check, they might not risk it, so as to try and rest him another week to have him for the SB.
Of course, it will matter not, as my Eagles will roll mightily on the Panthers!! No matter who they start!!

Foster or Davis doesnt matter either one will collect 100 + yrds on the ground .. Mcnappy will throw about 10 more passess in the dirt.. the panthers will cover this spread

as for davis, like hogman posted he didn't practice today. i imagine he might dress for sunday, but w/ a pulled quad/groin, i highly doubt he will play, and if he does, he won't be effective. i don't care if they shoot him up, anyone who's had that injury knows you aren't ready in a week.

philly's run d isn't the best, i'll give you that, but look at how many 150 ypg rushing they have given up, won...and covered.
agree with ludes there, you gotta look at the whole d package. i know you'll cover everything. i haven't figured it out yet myself.

I'm an Eagles homer, so take it for what it's worth, but all the talk coming out of Carolina this week is just stoking the fire in Philly. The Eagles will be more focused on, and motivated for this game, then any game in the last three years, and that's before the trash talking even started from the pussy-cats.
I'll say it again, so i'll eat the words if I'm wrong, but experience is gonna be the difference in this game. This will probably be a close game, and I'd take the points, but I personally think the moneyline is flat-out greedy.

I understand Carolina can run the ball but with Troy V playing again CB's will be locked one on one and Dawkins can focus on the run.
It will be wicked cold there, don't forget the panthers have yet to play out side this playoffs (Dallas doesn't count)! I believe it will be a kicking game. ***** Not the best time because Kasey has been shaky outside as of late.

I think you know where I'm goin with the whole "ML is just being greedy", comment. Of course we all know the concept of gambling is rooted in greed, with the quest for a quick buck. You're not exactly unique in your goal as a gambler in wanting to win as much $ as possible.
IMO, sometime's you've gotta check your emotions at the door, and do the smart thing. If you think the ML is the smart play, by all means, play the ML, and good luck.....

What about Tom Brady? He's listed as probable but Sturgeon is claiming he's had the knee drained after the last 3 Pats games and the knee has been worse than ever this week. Most injuries get overblown by the public, but if he's only 75%, that one dimensional attack will have problems.
