Louisville #8 -11.5 OVER East Carolina

ECU has committed 22 (thats right 22) turn overs in each of their last two games. This plays into the pressing style of Louisville(The Cardinals are fifth in the nation in field goal defense, holding opponents to 35 percent shooting, and their 7.6 blocked shots per game ranks fourth in the country)!

ECU coming off a loss to Charlotte 81- 65

Cardinals beat south Florida 85 - 40

Only play of the night....time to cash

No word on the extent of Ecu's Mikulas injury. No matter, IMO if he is hurt that puts even more hurt on (out maned) ECU down low. Mikulas is a thumper and even if he plays louisville still has an advantage in the paint.

Also ECU starting Guard Belton Rivers dislocated a finger last game. Add that injury to a team that has had consecutive 22 TO games. ;)

Louisville beat Kentucky by 9 @ Kentucky. IMO UK is a tougher place to play than ECU. However ECU is giving away free gold t-shirts in an attempt improve home court advantage.

Louisville (-13.5) is my play

I hope you jumped on board at 13.5? As you posted the spot is 14.5, might be 15 or 15.5 by tip-off.

To me this is "GOY" material. UL is blowing everyone out by 29 in recent run. I put 8 units down at -13.5 and I'm considering more.

Thanks for the info guys....

Let's pound this one!!!

jmo, but double digit, road chalk within conference is never GOY material. especially with louisville coming off 4 straight wins by 20+ pts.

the consensus on this one is enormous. it wouldnt surprise me to see louisville win by 10 or 11

MACH1 I like you post, I have to agree with Gman on not using GOY status but I do feel this is very solid play.

After all ECU loses one of their best players days before the game, has to dishearten the others. As gman said it is a confrence game so the Cards won't take it lightly. That being said ECU has lost three straight and lose a floor leader to injury! I think if you are a player on ECU you are standing on the tracks looking at the headlights of the train!

I understand your concern gman2, but UL is the number 1 D in the nation on the rd allowing just 48 pts per contest. Do you think ECU can get 60 tonight? I don't think so, especially without two starters!! UL will get to 75 without blinking an eye and I expect at least 50 in the 1h. I'm expecting lots of TO's to win this one and my chances are pretty good.

Have fun fellas!!

louisville has won 4 straight games by 35,34,22, and 36 points.
yet the opening line for this game was only 11.

seems like people cant get their money down on louisville soon enough.

seen one consensus at a downright aburd 85%/15%. normally anything over 77 or 78% is a good go-against.

ecu nothing special at all. but have seen far too many chalks fail in this kind of spot.
