Not as exciting as Wednesday's card but might have a few plays. . . this might be the only big play:

NAU -4 over Eastern Washington

Couple things: NAU is great at home, average on the road. The reason this team is great at home is the altitude. . . everyone thinks Denver is high, but try Flagstaff. . . the top long distance runners in the entire world come to Flag to train, not Colorado. Last year, Eastern was on fire. . . a damn good team that I tailed most of the year. Well, they aren't the same this year. NAU lost by only 2 to Eastern last year at home, think they aren't ready for revenge this season? I see a blowout.

Again, this is probably the only big play but I am looking VERY hard at SMU.

Went ahead and added Louisville -8 for the first half above average.

Should have a nice double digit lead at the half and then I won't have to worry about a backdoor cover for the game ;)

Added SMU -4 over Hawaii above average

Not much to say about this one except SMU is solid at home and the Bows are suspect on the road. . . especially the team this year.

Adding GT/Virginia under 81.5 2nd half average

Fairly slow paced game. . . Virginia was in it due to hot 3 point shooting but started to cool off and they aren't doing anything inside. Can't imagine them scoring more in the second half than they already have which means GT has to get into the 50s for this to go over. I don't think they do.

Mj, if I thought the game would be close and free throws would be part of the end game, I would have layed off, but I think GT wins this pretty convincingly and they won't need to score a lot to do it as Virginia only scored 30 points yet hit nearly sixty percent of their threes! Pretty scary.

Why do you think the Arizona line went down from -8 to -6.5???

I was thinking of betting on ARizona over USC. USC is not very good, and poorly coached. Great athletes, but that is it. Also there is not much of a home court at USC.

What is your take on this game? I am now thinking of pounding ARIZONA ML -275. I think that is a safe bet.

IMO Arizona should win by at least 10pts. USC might keep it close at half, but 2h Arizona should blow USC away.

Line move is funny but all of Arizona's lines have been moving against them lately. . . they were covering just fine until Stanford. Not sure what to expect out of this team. . . they may slow things down a little tonight when they have the ball in the half court. . . I just don't know.

Good point Johnny., . . I don't think USC can slow down their game and take good shots. . . they play like Arizona but Arizona is usually dominant which explains their recent success against USC.

Yeah, not over to the final buzzer but I had a lot of success last year with 2nd half total plays. . . any totals over 80 should be looked at very close especially if the game is a near blowout because you can't rely on free throws at the end of a game like Vegas usually allocates for when posting their 2nd half numbers.

Still a lot of time to go so we'll see but lucky for me Virginia isn't hitting their threes and both teams are struggling from the charity stripe.

Well, NAU was looking great but now its anyone's game

Adding Arizona/USC under 81.5 first half. . .

I really believe Arizona slows the game down just a little as the focus will be looking for better shots. Playing this just average and we'll see if the second half brings up anything.

Homer play:

Arizona laying 5.5 2nd half BIG

USC played about as well as they possibly can yet only up by 5. Not to mention one player has half their points! If Farmer gets cold, who do they go to?

Arizona should win a tight one but they should win a game like this.
