Probably not going to play this, only because the line is too fishy to me. We shouldn't be favored IMO. It's most likely due to home court advantage, but UCONN is rolling right now and we are inconsistent. Sean May is going to have trouble inside against Okafor. Our defense has been horrible lately, allowing our last 2 opponents to shoot above 50%. I expect the guys to show a bit more tenacity on the defensive end, because Roy has been all over them about it this week. We'll see, I'll probably change my mind and play something, but right now I would lean to taking UCONN ml.

Good luck today fellas :D

what about the total.think roy will have them play hard defense.like unc in first half and under in 1st but my local doesn't offer them.

Theoretically, I think the total should go under. I think Roy will have them completely focused on defense. With turnovers and good pressure it will translate into transition points. With that said, it's hard for me to ever play an under because we are capable of putting up points in such a hurry (as is uconn).
I did find something I like, I think we will get a fast start, if we get down early it could be a long day.

Heels 1H: 1 unit ML (-117)

OVER///UNDER

OVER///UNDER

Tar Heels have averaged 87.5 last five - which includes a 56 point effort in Loss at Kentucky

UCONN has averaged 87.6 in the last 5 - with the low of 75 in a one point win at Rurgers.

Picks

1. TAR - HEELS -1 [2 units]

2. OVER [1 unit]

Should be a great game....

great call on 1st half.i have unc and over and i wrapped them.got to stop betting against my blue devils.they seem to be relentless playing d.hope unc doesn't let up in 2nd half.this is the kind of game to cure alot of problems.fans will be expecting more of this against acc teams.

Just got in from the game. Thanks guys, nice win for the Heels. It's still a little troubling that we gave up a lead that big at home, but Okafor is the most dominant player I've seen in person in a while. It's nice to see a win when we are down with little time left. McCants stepped up, but he needs to be consistent with his effort, rather than such Jekyll and Hyde.

Dook is rolling lowell, your boys are hitting full stride right in time for the ACC games. You are hitting these UNC games nicely, you need to drop that service you use ;) and stick to the ACC.

As always, I'll see you guys on Thursday when the heels take on FSU at home.

i have dropped that service.but i am beginning to dislike texas for some reason.they have no idea what it is like to have unc, duke, state,wf,gt,and md all in 1 conference.this may be the best yr ever for acc.is deng not playing well or what.great game for unc.

deng is looking scary, at both ends of the court too. reddick is starting to feel it too, that's a tough combo.

as far as the ACC, it is without a doubt the strongest conference in the country. it's been quite a while it's been so deep.

ainge was scouting at duke game today.maybe deng is the next walker for him.hope he stay 2 yrs and livingston doesn't go pro next yr. by the end of the year deng could be player of the yr in acc. next yr i understand the power forward from wash state is great for unc.won't be long before roy will have unc fighting duke each yr for ist place..wait to you see nelson for duke in person.reminds me of oscar roberson.check out recruiting news about love kid from oregon.nephew of a beach boy.6ft 8 about 240 and a freshman.duke is trying to sign him now.
