Alright I'm starting to cap tomorrow and my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw that the Vikes in the role of a favorite. Now I know that Youngstown St is no prize either, but based on the performances of Cleveland St over the past few weeks the notion of them laying points to anyone is hard for me to shallow. A big part of me wants to play this on principle - so I'm just thowing it out there for discussion.

Is this line too good to be true? or am I being sucked in? Youngstown St has been playing teams tight in there losses and they did beat Cleveland St last week.

Any insight would be appreciated.

whats weird is this line opened at pinnacle at (-2) and it got hit to (-3.5) right away. early line moves like that are worth noting.

why on earth csu got hit from (-2) to (-3.5) is beyond me.

having said that......this could be csu's last legitimate shot to win a game this season. if you look at their schedule, it is absolutely brutal the rest of the way:

01/24 Youngstown State 5:30 PM Tickets
01/29 at Butler 7:00 PM Tickets
01/31 at Wright St 7:00 PM Tickets
02/5 Wisc. Green Bay 7:00 PM Tickets
02/7 at Detroit 4:05 PM Tickets
02/12 Butler 7:00 PM Tickets
02/14 Illinois (Chi.) 5:30 PM Tickets
02/26 at Loyola Chi 8:00 PM Tickets
02/28 at Wisc. Milwaukee 8:00 PM Tickets

the only game where they might have a shot is 2/26 at loyola

maybe csu seizes the opportunity to win their last winnable game of the season. but they look totally deflated.

csu has a lot more talent than ysu, but penguins are a cohesive unit that plays together. csu does not.

Thanks for the response.

I guess the same can be said for Youngstown St though, this is probably their last real chance to win a game too. I like that fact that they just did beat the Vikes and at least show some heart in the games they come up short.

Not sure if I will pull the trigger yet, but regardless it will be a small wager, I've learned by now not to lay major units on bad teams.

I truely believe CSU covers this number.

I only have like 10 posts & I know at least 5 of'em are about fading CSU, so I have been all over playin against but not tomarrow

I don't want to talk you out of playing the Vikings but I would have a hard time backing this team with any of my money. YSU is a better team than CSU at this point in time due to the loss of players through academics and injuries at CSU and basically they are playing with a 8 player team. As with all games involving two bad teams this game will come down to turnovers and fouls, since CSU is only 8 deep (and thats being generous) if they get into any sort of foul trouble they could be in some serious trouble, but it is very possible they could beat YSU at home, but pass for me.
