UNLV+3 OR 3.5 SHOP rebs can't start off the year in conf like last year and expect to get a bid they are already down 0-2 in conf. The funny thing about this team is they can play they go 9 deep and is one of the best teams in awhile the running rebs have had, but have slipped up at times this year after beating usc and out rebounded and out shot stanford but missed a ton of foul shots they dropped the game to the cards one of the best teams in the nation along with louisville IMO. but then they have a fold against n.az in a game that they should of smoked them and was set up for just that in the ann. vegas kids game but blew a 16 point lead at the half. got back on horse and played well till they got against utah and sdst in conf they out shot both and out rebounded both but once again could not hit the foul shots they needed and were bad behind the ark. they have 2 good scorers that have been ice cold the last few games and with the mtw tourney in utah this year rebs cannot start off 0-3 and say we are ok because we have the mtwt at the t and m and we are tuff to beat there. So this is a must game for the rebs if they are going to have any chance of a bid to the big dance insted of a birth in the sock hop.
BC+1 6 units wvu was playing well to the nd game and after the game wvu's leading scorer and 1 team big east player last year said in a report he need to get more shots , well something else went on and the truth has never came out but he was canned and wvu is a team that can't score or rebound they start 3 fresh and 2 jr's some time 2 fresh 1 soph and 1 jr depends on the day but the bottom line is it will take wvu 2-3 years to get back to form like the 99 season when they went to the sweet 16 , this is a program that was run into to the ground by cat the last few years and they have the right coach to turn it around but it won't be for a few years. yes they can still hold their own at home but they just don't have the speed or the fire power to match up with a bc team who has put together some mini runs this year wvu has not won more then 2 in a row all year and although i see the line saying please take bc and get punked i will take my chances.
good luck and talk about punked zags pulled off one on me last night went to bed up 2 with i think 10;02 left and woke up to see a 15 point win guess portland ran out of gas or zags caught fire was in bed so won't no but those are the breaks.
