well just hate it when the home pages changes to a different home page
so i ahve to go to
tools,,internet options,,,address ,,so i put on the home page i want www.
than apply than ok

than later on the day,,,home page again goes to a different home page

how do you fix this problem

Do you mean the first page that comes up on your browser???


Try going to the desired page, click on tools, internet options and then click "Use Current". You might be able to set it that way.


Also try:
Going to the page itself to set it. It might not be capturing the addy!!!

yes when you turn on computer and click the internet explorer it goes to that differnrt page than the one i set...

If that doesn't work you could have a homepage stealer bug you downloaded somewhere, I'll check later to see what happened and try to walk you through removing it.

A homepage stealer bug is a piece of script telling your computer to use some particular URL for your home page instead of the one you choose, it was more than likely embedded in something you downloaded, and it stuck it in your computer without your permission.

it went back to normal home page,,but at some point it goes to that other webpage some time today,,,but yes to that same other home page

a couple of months ago it used to go to a sexsite home page,,very annoying,,now it has not gone there, but now to a different site
makes sense about that stealing bug,,how do you get rid of it
