Out on a limb at the big "A"

Friend of mine has challenged me to a handicapping contest at Aquaduct today, first post is 12:30 EST I believe, will post my plays here if you want to follow along, this may not be for the weak of bankroll however as I am not farmiliar with this track, so take that as a warning.

I really have a small data base when it comes to Aquaduct, but I see no reason to belive that this will be any sort of speed dual, the 4 scares me a bit, but I think the 6 horse Linkoman has the running style as well as reasonable enough speed to get the job done, connections look competent enough as well, W/P on the 6 horse in the first.

Small profit with the place money $6.00, but DAMN we were close to running down the 8 horse in the stretch.

By far and away the best horse in race 2 is the 7 Fire Hero, but betting the best of non-winners does not guarantee a winner, a decent ride here should get the job done, the big concern comes from his outside with the CD shipper #8, but we'll give the 7 the nod here. In all honesty this is a rac worth passing, but since is a wager with a friend of mine I will play the 7 and of course throw some cash on it as well, just to keep it interesting

Real friggin tragedy the next race is, short field, short race and 2 big ML favorites, Another one worth passing on, but for the sake of the little contest here I will go with the 3 horse based on his recent works, competent connection and the addition of first time lasix.

Came up short in what has to be THE closest non-dead heat I have ever seen.

Bigger field in this sprint, but still gonna get a fairly short price on this selection, a horse named after the goalie for my favorite team #1a The Lamp is Lit

I seem to have a propensity to pick the second best horse in every race, hhmmm............

Thought we may actually get a price in this next race, which is a mile & 5/8 I guess their just gonna run till one of the horses drops dead from exhaustion.

Like the 5 horse Normandy Gold, liked him better at 12-1 though.
