the panthers present the most versatile running attack that ne has faced. i say this because caro runs with power and speed betweeen their two backs. also, they run to the outside, up the middle, and off tackle with both backs as well. the pats are a very creative blitzing team and if they guess right they will have great success. the panthers have the formula for winning, but they will probably need ne to contribute with 2 to's. this is something ne does not do. 1 to in the colts game. the short passes by brady may negate the panthers great d line. caro will have to play tight coverage or brady will complete passes in front of them all day. if caro looks up at the half and are within a score then i think we will have a game. if the pats get td's instead of fg i just don't think the panthers can keep up.

As you can see, I have been thinking about this game alot. I'm sticking to my Carolina play simply because I feel that NE will not blow them out. MAybe NE covers, but those of you that think it will be 31-14 or whatever are in Dreamland. Fox has one of the most discipline coaching styles I have ever seen. Carolina will play this one tight, and if they don't cover they don't cover. But I think NE backers are going against the odds by thinking NE wins by 7+. NE is not an offensive juggernaut, and Carolina has an outstanding running attack and a QB who has proven that he does not turn the ball over often, which will have to happen in order for NE to blow them out. I will take the points and the running game plus a smart QB plus a close to the vest coaching style plus a team with a lot of heart anyday. Win or lose I am feel Carolina is the play. Good Luck. I have a feeling it will be a game.:)

And I've come to the conclusion that the key to the game is simply this: Will the Panthers D-Line be able to put some heat on Brady knock him down and sacking him a couple times. If not then I am most likely a loser. But I am comfortable in assuming they will get him a couple times.

In an era of parity in the NFL, I don't put much into super bowls from more than 5-10 years back. I believe times have changed, and people are hyping up the Pats a little too much. This Carolina team will not be shell shocked, and they have what it takes to win this game or at least make it close. You know all it takes is what miscue early by the Pats and its an uphill battle covering the 7. Good Luck.
