DirecTV lawsuits

Anyone have any info about these lawsuits that DirecTV is filing against alleged piraters? :shrug:

Saw one article on dsshelper but not much else since that forum is not accessable for non-members during peak hours.

Tried to get on the forum at dssrookie but site is down. I know people who received letters from DirecTV alleging piracy and requesting settlement, etc. because they purchased of a loader.

Anyone care to chime in on this topic? What have you heard?

They are ****ing fishing.....they know that you know it will cost more than 3500 dollars to defend yourself...so, they are banking that most will settle. DirectTV are a bunch money whores who are extorting money from the little man. Who's fault is it that they can't protect their signal? Hell, they probably gave it out and now are making a bundle on these threatening lawsuits. Bottom line..they have no proof...make them serve you...they will drop the case before trial...trust me.
