that the Big 12 is being renamed the Sun 12. Let's put that one to rest right now. LOL!

All kidding aside, I only saw the last minute or so of OT due to a family emergency but it's pretty clear to me it was going to be a bad beat for one side or the other. When someone gets bored please give me a run down of the game. Had to have been terribly played with that score Thanks.

PS Explain this new poll: Wake is just ahead of Texas, even though Texas beat Wake and has a better record. Texas is right ahead of Okl St, even though Okl St won AT Texas AND has a better record.

Well, the good news is that cbb polls mean very little, unlike the sham that we call college football. As far as the game goes, Texas played a tough zone but couldn't rebound. Tech had the foul advantage, but couldn't stop Ivey's 3 at the buzzer. Besides that, clearly a dominating win by the Horns in every way. lol.

Intreresting .. Horns generally rebound quite well and Tech doesnt. I guess folks will call it luck, but when all but 1 guy is back from a FInal Four team you have a team that knows how to win.

BTW, as I asked in the other thread - whats the story with the Mizzou logo - you and Cocaine Quinn buds or something? Maybe you want him in your therapy group? LOL

LOL. I was born in Columbia, MO. Gotta support the school in some way, because I would never live there again. Winters suck. :nono:

Actually, that was Mouton that hit the last second 3.

I'll say this about the game: Texas probably should have won that game in regulation had Tucker made some of those layups. Tech got out to a 10 point lead and Texas quickly chipped away. It stayed tight after that and came down to FT's. Boddicker missed his last one so UT had to foul. Tech hit both and Mouton drained the 3. The rest is history.

I'm not sore about my team losing, played them small so I can live with it. My bigger play is AFA.

Texas simply produces in the clutch. Nothing I could do about it. Nice to see one of us hit! :)

Appreciate it. It was simply a tough game that could have gone either way. I'm convinced that hoops is about 80% luck. lol. GL2U

I am not sure what game Fla was watching, but Texas dominated the glass 42-24.

I am very concerned about the careless turnovers that Ivey has been making. They simply are not coveting each possession. Klotz was terrific. He has been consistently solid last couple.

Something to keep an eye on for capping purposes: If Texas continues to play a lot of zone (which they have the last few), the under should be golden.

I had TT and "under" on the 2nd half, but while watching the game, I felt fortunate to be in it. Then being up 3 with 3 seconds left, I felt like I must have a horseshoe up my arse, because Texas just couldn't score. Then the horseshoe came flying out in the last 3 seconds. Why TT didn't put someone on the guy passing the ball inbounds is beyond me. But Bobby Knight knows best. LOL. TT lived by the 3. . . and died by one last night.
With the size advantage Texas had, I was surprised that they didn't pound the ball inside all night long. It looked like Texas wanted to give the game away, but TT wouldn't take it. :(

It seems I have more success playing the low profile games. These big TV games have more twists and turns than a Perry Mason episode. I'm waiting for a ref, a coach, or a fan to stand up at the end and shout "I did it. I killed him." And after watching that game tying 3 pointer drop, I was the corpus delicti. :D
