The Pac-10 season hits the halfway point after the games this week, with second-ranked Stanford definitely the cream of the crop. The Cardinal holds a two-game conference lead, and manhandled ninth-ranked Arizona earlier this year in Tucson, 82-72. No Pac-10 team has ever gone 18-0 in the conference, although a handful of squads have managed 17-1 ledgers.

Stanford and Arizona are the only two Pac-10 schools currently ranked. March Madness is a little over a month away, and it appears that only three or four Pac-10 teams will be dancing. The Cardinal and Wildcats are locks, while UCLA and Oregon would be looking at seven, eight or nine seeds if the season ended today.
Four Pac-10 Conference contests are listed below, while Southern Cal and UCLA squared off late Wednesday night. Also listed are the current conference standings.

UCLA 5-3
