YTD: 24-14

Yesterday: 0-1

Backed the wrong Ivy yesterday as my leans all won but mybest bet won but couldn't cover.

Seton Hall +7.5

Sanders back for PC, but his two fingers are in a plastic cast which will hurt his shot....last two games between these two came down to the last second...PC won 64-61 in OT at home in March of last year and the Friars gave the Hall their only home loss of the year 63-60 earlier this season.

Orr was an Asst Coach for Gilliam and knows all of his plays...I'll be very surprised if this one doesn't come down to the final shot.

SB,

Seems like the line is about right. Prov beat SH on the road by 3 earlier in January.

Thoughts?

Thanks and GL today

Bosco -- I think Box and One covered most of the main points...I like the fact that the Hall is coming off the game vs 'Cuse...coming down in class and having faced similar scheme will help them keep this one close. I see another 65-62 game.

I wouldnt say that playing Providence after Cuse is a step down in class. Equivalent teams.

you are from NY and knowing that we are both follow the Big East I'd like to know your oppinion on Syracuse +13 at UCONN tommorow? The +13 looks like a nice take to me especialy because SU has not covered their last 3 games in a row.

superbook,nice job on the Hall.
I have to give Orr a lot of credit. He attacked the 2-3 in the middle 1st,then kicked out.Hall outscored Prov 34 to 22,or something like that in the paint.
Hall has a lot of "greyhounds".There all 6'6 and can play. They have a great pt gd and a small aircraft carrier in Whitney. This is a dangerous team.
Also I think playing vs a zone a few nites ago and seeing the same one with a 2 gd front again really did help.
And I forgot that Orr played for the Cuse so he knows the 2-3 better then anyone.
But I cannot believe coaches don't change thier fronts.I played 2-3 but would switch it to a 1-3-1.Then trap off it,go back to 2-3,show a 1-2-2,go back and then of course throw the "box" at them.
One of my players greatest "highs" was us changing things up and watching teams call timeouts to adjust. My players would all have a snicker or smile on their faces in the huddle. And everyone knew in the huddle we were changes what we were just in.
And Tim's father Jerry Walch who is a legend among us Ny coaches ran the meanest man/man defense at Potsdam St.
But so many coaches won't change.Boe at the Cuse does play man/man now.Chaney at Temple always sticks with his zone.
And then you have the Bobby Knights who will always play man.
I really think you should adapt.Knight lost many games when he played teams that had no outside threats but slashers. But its his system and he has had big time sucess.
Anyway,nice job today...
