Living in Philadelphia, I have plenty of exposure to these two programs, and no allegiance to either.
Regarding this game, I have seen some of the most biased ridiculous assertions ever posted on this board. No offense to "ya can cap", but your post of the 4 on 2 completely negates Barley, Stachitas, and Carroll, who I might all consider to be as good or better than any member of the Nova backcourt. Mainly because they know how to play basketball and play together. Yes, Nova has a decent frontline, but let's not get carried away with them.
This game could seriously go either way. It's a city rivalry, although the games in this series have NOT been particularly close in recent years. If Joes has an offnight, they might get beat, or they might win a close one. But if they play about their average game, then they will toast Nova, because Nova cannot score to keep up with them. They scored 114 on the road at Bonnies a few games back. ONE HUNDRED FOURTEEN POINTS. And they don't play a loose run up and down and jack up the first shot you see offense. They work the ball around extremely well, penetrate effectively, and dish.
Its hard to characterize this as a down spot for Joes. They have been pointing to this game for awhile and will be ready for it. They sure won't be letdown and they also surely won't be intimidated by Nova.
No play for me on this, but just my opinion as to what is now being posted on this board.
