Well, I said I wouldn't play Hoosiers games on or against until they lost because of my supersticions (I told many friends over the phone that I expected Mich St to handle them and they did just that once the final horn rang, many of those friends view and post here and were able to take advantage of the insight).....BUT since they have lost, its now time to put the record at stake....

My record so far on IU games this year is a lucky: Indiana Hoosier Games 9-0 +29 units

The home team has won SU last 5 in this series and covering ATS all 5 times. They have also won 7 of the last 10 and the team who has won has covered in all 10 ATS.

Indiana wins this game tonight so getting them as a home dog of +3 and buying a point to +4 gives us a team who is playing very confidently and who will have a presence inside against Illinois with Leach. I attended this game last year and watched IU win without Bracey Wright who will finally get a chance to play against his high school teamate and best friend Derron Williams. He is also great friends with Dee Brown and I expect him to be a big factor in the Hoosier win tonight. AJ Moye will cause major match up problems in this game as well both offensively posting up guards and defensively.

Indiana Hoosiers +4 5 units (bought point)

Davidson -10 3 units (bought half)
Okl State -6 3 units (bought half)

Kentucky +2 2 units

Man is Moye playing well. This is a case where and injury really helped another player out. Leach's extended time out due to injury forced Moye to play a lot for Indiana in the post. I think it made him much stronger both offensively and defensively. Now with Leach out he has the advantage of being too physical for most guards and quicker then most forwards....without losing much as far as strength due to the experience he got while leach was out. He has always been a very vocal leader (even as early as his frosh year) and now brings so much to this young Hoosier team....ESPECIALLY WITH THE ADVANTAGE LEACH BRINGS IN THE LINE-UP WITH HIM. I am very impressed with this starting 5's defense (Perry, Strickland, Wright, Moye and leach) and give this Hoosier team a solid, serviceble bench (Klien, Ewing Jr., Wilmont and Tapak).....Serviceble and solid, not great or deep but with the Big Ten being IMO weaker then most years enough to make the noise that they are currently making last a little longer. Davis has been stressing tough nose defense, physical play from his guards, talking on Defense, and giving it 110% for lose balls. This team has finally started to believe in what he teaches and its showing with the turnovers that they are creating, the bad shots that they are forcing, and the patience that they have on both sides of the ball. Now all they have to do is get stronger with their inside presence (which I just don't think they have the personel or depth in personel to create a major advantage against teams here). Either way, I still believe as I said day one that this years team will make us a lot of dough playing for and against as they are not a really tough team to figure out as far as match up advantages and disadvantages and what to expect out of them IMO.

Hopefully they continue to play defensively as they have up to this 2 minute mark, keep forcing bad shots, blocking out and the scoring will hopefully come along in the second half for another Big Ten victory and ATS cover for us.
