Remember everything I stated about Peterson, and how he was considering USC. I said Peterson 2nd choice was USC, and I was bashed and said no way. I said exactly what Peterson's Mom said about giving her blessing and i was bashed. I also talked about how he was strongly considering USC, and I was bashed. Well it is time for those of you to apologize to me and swallow your pride. You did personally attack me and some of you said my sources were crap and that I had no sources. At the bottom of the post are quotes from few posters towards me about my Peterson info. I did not deserve those attacks and I should be treated with the respect I deserve.

the whole point of it was he considered OU first, and than Texas and A&M, he even admitted that on the Chicago Sports radio last night, and that came from his own mouth. He did say he was very interested in USC, but he did not think he would get alot of playing time there. but his instincts were OU at first so that is why he stuck with them in the first place. He also stated he wanted to play with Romar, i guess thats his name as well. But he stated he made up his mind a few weeks ago about going to OU.they hand sound bites from some of the top 25 players where they signed that at, if i can get a transcipt i'll post it on here. there were some ghetto ass players on there though, it was kind of funny......

So scott you can go cry to other people and keep trying to convince yourself that USC is the greatest thing out there since Fruitcake. I think USC is absoultely a top 5 team for next year, but take a break and look back at all of the things you post on here. To me, it really really seems like you have to prove to yourself first that they are a great team, instead of trying to convince us. In case you did not know, USC already has Bush, #1 RB in the nation last year, White, #8 RB in the nation last year, Washington, #9 RB in the nation last year, and Dennish, top 10 RB in the nation 2 years ago. So Peterson not choosing USC is fine by me because USC is simply loaded at RB. USC did not need a RB in this class, but Carroll felt Peterson was the only high school RB that could compete with the current RB's at USC. Congrats to OU in landing a premier RB.

3rd, USC is not threatened by OU at all, USC wanted to play OU this year, but OU stalled and would not get it done. USC settled on playing Colorado St. and V-Tech. OU i guess would rather play BOWLING GREEN and FLORIDA A&M. When they beat these 2 teams by 50pts, you all will say wow, they are the #1 team in the nation and get duped again like you always do with teams who play an embarrassing OOC schedule. Must be nice of OU to put up all those offense stats against bad teams and then lay an egg against the 2 toughest opponents they faced all year. No, i am not afraid of OU.

I think USC has more talent than OU. I think USC has a better coaching staff than OU. I think USC plays a tougher SOS than OU. I am not saying OU cannot beat USC, but I am saying I am not afraid of them.

I would argue OU weak linke was also OL. You also can debate WHITE not being a great QB. The guy could not read a defense and was poorly coached and prepared. Remember, OU offense all season played against defenses that gave up an average of over 30pts a game. What did the great OU offense do against KSU and LSU???? I know White would not start at USC. Lastly, where was that great coaching that OU supposedly has against KSU and LSU? OU was badly coached and badly prepared. That BCS NC was a very very sloppy game.

Lastly, you forget that I never said USC was a dynasty. I said USC is building a dynasty and that I think USC will dominate college football for the next 5-10 years as long as Chow and Carroll are at USC.

He had an above average game statwise against Kstate but not his worst and didn't Kstate have one of the top D's in the nation going into that game. And instead of saying how poorly coached and how badly White played who had to have shoulder surgery and broke his toe during the game; why dont you give credit to LSU defense which in my opinion is 3 times better than USC weak ass defense. 3 years ago #11 ranked Kansas St. beat USC 10-6 @ USC. It was Pete Carroll and Norm Chow's first year at USC and it was just USC 2nd game of the year. KSU was the better football team.

2 years ago, the #6 ranked Kansas St. team beat USC 27-20 @ Kansas St. This was USC 3rd game of the year, and USC played Auburn and @ CO the week before. VERY TOUGH! Despite Mike Williams dropping a total of 6 passes in that game (yes his worst game of his life) and USC coming up short on game tying drive on the KSU 20 yard line with Kareem Kelly dropping a 1st down pass, USC lost by 7pts. I think KSU was the better team so I do not want to take any credit away from them.

2nd, USC SOS will never bite USC in the butts. USC takes pride in playing tough SOS. USC would never play a div. 2 school and never play multiple horrible div 1a opponents. Some fans enjoy watching their team destroy less talented teams. Not USC fans.

Jason White would not be the starting QB at USC. He simply is not good enough and he cannot read defenses. Lienart in his first year playing I think was a lot better and showed he can read defenses. Look how he picked apart the Michigan defense in the Rose Bowl (which was very highly rated). Look how White picked apart the very good KSU and LSU defenses. :lol:

Are you sure about that? USC had the #1 DL in the country. USC was #1 against the run in the country. USC did not put up great defensive stats against div. 2 schools. USC blew out their opponents by the 2nd quarter so the subs were playing virtually the whole 2nd half. USC won by average of 4 touchdowns this year, and the offense was so explosive they would score in 2min. drives. The defense played soft prevent defense where they let the WR catch the ball but for only short passes and immediately tackle them. Inside the 20's USC would tighten up. USC let the opposing team run time off the clock becuase USC already was up by 20+ pts. You cannot compare the offenses of the SEC to the offenses of the Pac 10. NO COMPARISON!!!!!! Did you not watch any USC games this year? Did you not see the type of defense USC ran? Did you watch the Rose Bowl? If you want me to go into further about this I have all the ammo to throw out at you and make that last statement of yours make you look foolish.

Well I guess you do not read all my posts. I give credit all the time, but only when it is deserved. LSU did play a great defensive game. I might say outstanding defensive game. However, KSU beat OU 35-7 which I think was a lot more impressive than LSU "close" victory over OU. In addition, KSU lost to Ohio St. 35-28. SO how good is KSU? OU? and LSU????? Michigan dominated Ohio St. and was one of the hottest teams in the country and they were completely dominated by USC. This all happened at the very end of the season. No need to debate this because everything in this last paragraph is all facts and I have had this argument ton of times.

Lastly, the BCS Championship game was extremely sloppy. You said LSU "played the game to perfection and executed." How good is LSU then? Not very good if they played that game to perfection and executed and had to stop OU twice at the end of the game from tying them? The same OU team that lost to KSU 35-7??? You say you know so much about football, so i guess you just dissed LSU. Or maybe you really are that intelligent about football and that explains why the media proclaimed USC the best team in the country and not LSU last year. That explains it. I agree with you that OU has been the best program the last 3 years. Someone could make argument for Miami but they played so poorly in the BCS NC game against Ohio St. and under-performed last season. As for OU 2 BCS championship games and a Rose Bowl victory I think it should be mentioned that they had business playing in last seasons BCS NC game. They did not even win their conference and got blown out 35-7 in their last game of the year. In their ROSE BOWL victory they beat a very good Washington St. squad but the very good WSU QB Gessar was a gimp. He tried to play hurt but he was not affective. If he was healthy I think WSU would have had a decent chance in beating OU. I know I would have bet a bundle on WSU +6 over OU. In addition head coach Price accepted the Alabama job before the Rose Bowl and that had to affect the team chemistry and their preparations for the game.

In the last 4 years I would say Miami has had the best program.
