Tale of Two Men--Morris and Wormdog..

Short story..There was a small "friendly" wager on the Superbowl.
I had Carolina +7 vs Morris and Carolina +7 vs Wormdog.
Obviously, I won both-but the payouts were quite different.
Wormdog has YET to contact me about payment. I have waited 1 solid week and not one word. I realize that some things happen and I would not want to call out anyone unjustly-but a week is MORE than enough time. Wormdog-garbage move buddy. I promised that jersey to my son and now I will keep the promise and buy it for him myself. You WOULD have gotten paid-but it is pieces of crap like you that make society what it is today. What goes around-comes around "pal"-you just ruined your reputation on here unless you make good.
But just when I lose faith-Morris steps up. I don't know him and I could have expected the same. But-WAIT-Bob contaced me less than a half hour after the game. I recieved my "friendly" cap along with a nice note less than 2 days after the game. THat is class Morris. Today-my son got a new Bobby Labonte hat that he will wear for the Daytona. Kudos Morris-thanks for restoring my faith.
And to everyone that will post-I understand buyer beware. I know-but I hope the world is full of more Morris'.

I used this same method to try and get a guy to pay his $25 entry into my contest. (I waited two weeks before I posted, though.) I got all sorts of shit for it, too. The guy I fronted out got really pissed, and called it a cheap shot. I can't remember his name, though...........

Yea, it's awful funny that michigan fans always seem to be involved in one end or the other of getting stiffed or being the stiffer.

This seems to be the only time that I have seen a mich fan get stiffed. Oh well, don't know what to make of it. Maybe payback :shrug:

Yes, Whale, I did. The point being, you used the exact same tactics I did, and when the shoe was on the other foot, you cried foul.

I backed down a bit, and agreed that I could have handled it in a better manner. I just find it hard to believe that you would use the exact same method to try and get paid, after being so critical of me.:nono:
