Freeze - Believe me, I am in no way defending our offense which drives me crazy, but did you know that this year's Texas team was the highest scoring team in school history.

seriously, can we quit with the crossover to Mack Brown everytime some team or coach stinks up the joint? The redundancy is getting tiresome.

UMass with Lappas. But just recently the past couple of games he's allowed his young'ins to run a little.
The key to any offense is "what kind of players you have".Motion,flex,etc.Everyone has to adjust. But when you play a Cuse or Prov you have to set up your zone offense.
That gives those teams an advantage esp when you have played man offense for 5 straight games. An example of that is Rutgers vs Cuse tuesday nite.RU just played Miami,ND,Nova and St Johns. The only game they saw zone a lot was vs the Johnnies 2 weeks ago.now the others might throw a zone in here and there buts thats different.
Skinner today vs the Johnnies attacked the 2-3 with a 2 gd front. He finally adjusted and put a hi-low post player. But it was boring to watch.Unless you have a penetrating gd which BC does not have its a boring offense.
But Lappas runs that motion thats I can't stand.
