ever call off the phucking dogs when they are up 20 with a couple of minutes left? Phucking coach K-ski has all of the starters in there up 20 with 2 minutes left....and of course, they cover!!! :thefinger Hate duke....love how you have to play 5 on 8 as well when you play duke because the zebras are all up in coach K and dukes :moon: wish someone would pound these a$$holes!!

Yea, I couldn't agree more. The Dykies got every call in the 2nd half...including the phantom out-of-bounds call on Clemson when the Duke guy slipped and dribbled the ball out himself. Joke K must have layed the 23. He had PinkDick out there the entire game to keep his average up. He scored most of his points when the game was already over. I'll never bet on or against that weasle faced Joke K again. After their one player went down with a sprained ankle, I was hoping all of the starters would go down with sprained ankles. Keep those starters in till they drop! Now that would have been funny. But no such luck. :D

I had St. Joes yesterday and they were up about 25 with 8 minutes left and their coach brought in their subs. You can see the difference in class and sportsmanship. :D

class and sportsmanship comment coming from a turddle fan where state law makers are addressing the profanity laced t shirts students wear to game.by the way i see md shot 28 free throws to only 14 for fsu.i promise you i lost a hell of alot more money on duke than you.lost my three teamer with md and duke under.at least i won those separately but it was over 2 dime swing duke covering.lets look a little further at your st joe analogy.nelson and west average 32 minutes they played 30 and 27.both hit or exceeded averages with 22 and 20 points for game.bench averages 19.7 pts they get 32 in game or 61.5% increase over average.for duke redick averages 31 minutes.played 33.deng 30 he played 30.duhon 35-played 32.bench averages 16.3 pts per game got 25 which is 65%increase for game.the reason duke covered to my dismay is they shot 85% from foul line. maybe there was a little payback for clemson running up the score this yr in football-i do not know. i too wish he would play horvath and melchionn more-there are only 9 scholarship players.now if you send a letter to sports office i am sure they will consider your suggestions about how to run the team.

clemson free throw shooting is what killed us here boys. 13 of 26, 50% isnt going to get very many covers when you cant hit the free b's

i wanted to hit the under and have clemson cover.last minute and half of 1st half hurt.clemson should have used timeouts.game tied at 27 and then clemson gives up 9 pts last 1.5 minutes.coach k is a hard driving son of a bitch sometimes.reminds me of my drill sargent at fort jackson yrs ago.after he had starters play about 40 minutes each vs unc he said duke is very expensive and they need to earn their scholarships.years ago this strategy back fired vs ky in ncaas when everyone was tired.

Lowell,
I don't know if you happened to notice, but I commented on your picks before the games. I had played the same games in a similar fashion. I keyed Clemson +23, which I felt was an inflated number considering Clemsons ability to slow the tempo, and the fact that Duke had been taken to the limit by UNC in it's last game. I also had Clemson +13 for the 1st half, and luckily, hit that.
My gripe, besides losing the bet, was the fact that Duke still had their starters in the game when the game was already decided. They stayed in the game until there was 45 seconds left on the clock.
In the St. Joe's game, West and Nelson were on the bench for the last 8 minutes.
I went to Maryland, and I've been to a couple of Duke games in my life. Neither fans have the market cornered when it comes to class or sportsmanship. I don't remember ever seeing Gary Williams run up the score on anyone, though.
Personally, I think Duke is the best team in country, but if their bench is that short, then what happened with KY is likely to happen again.
