Pitt (+2) over S. Hall

The only loss the panthers have is to a good UConn team in Conn by like 2 points. They have beaten good teams away (Cuse, ND, BC). IMO Pitt gets zero respect and I think Pitt will be just as pumped for this game as Hall will be. Look for a good defense to limit the Pirates second chance shots. Only way I see SH staying in it is if they have a tremendous shooting night from outside.

If you look at the Pitt game of last week the Irish are very week inside. The huskies will be too much for them in the paint and with all the shots ND takes rebounds are key. Too bad for the Irish that they will lose the rebound battle to a much better big man team. (Torin Francis is hurting and he is the best inside player for the irish) Thomas is trying to do everything for that team and the guard play of UConn will be all over him.

Possible play on Okla (-4) over Kansas
Doing a little more looking before this is a play.:shrug:
Okla is tough at home and I'm not sold on the Jayhawks.

if SH was not getting respect, they wouldnt be the favorite, IMO...probably has to so with the past games there...

IMO I think hall is getting respect considering Pitt is #4 in the NCAA and getting points from a confrence team. If you look in the past teams like Cuse and Uconn were giving Pitt a lot of points. Pitt came out and blew the doors off Cuse and made a great game against UConn.

I think it shows great repect for Hall to be (-2) even with losses to WVU(??), BC, Providence, Louisville and Purdue. Mean while Pitt has wins over Cuse, BC, ND (twice) and FSU.
IMO home court advantage is the only thing Hall has that Pitt doesn't in this game and I think Pitt has the experience to win out right.

Also Everyone knows Pitt is a run and gun team and Coach Louis Orr appears to have settled on a six-man rotation for the lion's share of the minutes. J.R. Morris serves as the sixth man, and plays a lot. Grant Bellmeier and Donald Copeland generally make it off the bench only for token minutes. This team may get worn out.

Okla St (-4) over Kansas

3 of the 4 losses the Jayhawks have are on the road to teams less than great [(Nevada, Iowa St and Stanford (well they are great) and a close game with A&M].

Okla St is unbeaten at home with wins over Pepperdine, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and a win @ Texas (IIMO a very hard place to play).The Cowboys had no such trouble in their most recent outing with Iowa State, winning 88-67 on Saturday @ Iowa!

IMO a very quick and skilled Cowboys team will be tough for the Jayhawks to match-up with. Look at the Richmond game with regards to running that tempo up. I hope that the Cowboys throw a little zone at the Jayhawks because after all thats one big reason Iowa St dropped 47 on them in the second half to win.

the only good team is Cuse, and not all the team, very shaky team this year, ND and BC just stinks! :shrug:

I would say Boston College is a good team. After all, they did beat Seton Hall.

I understand you opinion, I was just talking Big East comparability, IMO teams with 14-5, 15-7 are good teams.
Using that "Shaky" team (BC, ND, Cuse) school of though, here is something to think about:

BC Won 72-63 over Seton Hall
WVU (same 4-5 big east as BC & ND) Won 69-64 over Seton Hall

The only game common opp is:
SH played them at the Hall and won Won 74-67
Pitt played them @Syracuse and Won 66-45

I think we differ about what we think are good teams and I completely see your point. I was just saying that Pitt beats the Middle rung big east teams. Notice Pitt is 7-1 in the Big East, SH is 5-3. Losses against WVU, BC and Providence IMO can't compare to one pitt 2 point loss to UConn.
