And is ripping that monkey-boy Bush about 3 new assholes!

This is gonna be a slaughter of an election and not even MobBoy Scalia and his Uncle Tom Clarence Thomas will be able to save them this time.

if you think so, you should make a large wager to that affect. You can get +175 or so that the Democratic Party will win the presidency. Why not post the ticket after you bet so we can all congratulate you on your victory this fall?

historically most sitting presidents at this point are behind their challengers, because everybody in the opposing party is ganging up on the president.

at one point reagan was about 20% behind mondale & clinton was getting killed by dole. and we remember what happened in those elections.

once the bush team starts exposing kerry as a fraud & wishy-washy & the american people realize that kerry is another northeastern liberal the polls will change.

unless something dramatic happens along the scale of watergate, bush will win this election by at least 10%.

bank on it!!

Hell kerry still has not won the nomination, which I hope he does because ocelot couldn't be more wrong, kerry couldn't beat bush in 10 elections.

It's edwards that would give the dems their best chance. This guy could be trouble if he gets in or in the next few years.

So true.

It don't take a weatherman to look around and see the weather, Jeb said he'd deliver Florida, folks, and . . . boy did he ever.

Dems won't be able to win this one, because W won't pull his ill-conceived tax cut even as with the deficit reaches records . . . and that's without the cost of the war. Tanking the dollar, keeping interest rates at all-time lows. This election will be bought but it won't be as obvious as it was in 2000.

Democrats are down to +143 at Pinnacle, told you they were too sharp. I will take a little of that action though. A Kerry/Edwards ticket would be very, very strong in many of the key regions as well as demographics.

Paying for his own candidacy is not a cause for alarm, imho. Seems pretty silly that his wife can't pay it off, but campaign contributions can?

The playing of the military issue is one of the issues that will most interest me. I didn't know much about Kerry and his stance on Vietnam once he got stateside until you (or maybe it was Chanman) posted those articles, but it doesn't look that that's an issue that either side will want to go down.

It seems both parties have a lot of shuffling to do before November.

I think it's odd how the nominations was practically granted to Dean before the first primary. Once Kerry won that, he has steamrolled. I thought it was a one horse race, but that has been changed quickly over the last few weeks.

Just strikes me as odd how that has worked out.

Now everyone would have you believe that there is no chance that Kerry will lose. It's like watching 7 year olds play soccer. The ball flies out of the group and everyone on the field chases after it.

BBC I dont' mind those who served in nam coming home and protesting that hell hole. they earn the right. I did mind those who protested and never went.
I dont know who will win this election. I thought Bush had it made. Not so sure anymore. That interview he gave the other night was rather sad.

I am making it a point to stay outta these threads as it seems nothing gets acconplished. I thought the draft was the same as the volunteer force in that ppl w/$ & influence would get deferred or transferred away from the action. I know ppl that were in during the Vietnam Era that are 'Vets' although they never left the states.

Seems like eons ago I listened to relatives who survived the Bataan Death March, got a Purple Heart in France during WW2 or went to fight the Korean War via ship- 3 days sailing from San Francisco. I always had to drag it out of them as they never talked about it much.
