Oh, that would be in the other part of Texas. I won't be able to see any of that. I'll probably be wearing shorts again, in a few days.
It started snowing on my way home out of downtown Dallas tonight. But, at least so far, it's melting when it hits the ground.
It's close to 4 am here in Arlington, and it looks no different from your picture above!!!!! Look out, we've got snow here, which means half of the metroplex will be calling in sick today...

I think the kids and I will build a snowman today. The irony of it is that my parents are down here from Missouri for my twins birthdays...They just left some snow for some more snow...Well better get on that snowman before it turns 80 degrees in the next couple of hours...
I drove through Irving today, and all over the place there are kids out having snowball fights and building snowmen and such. It looks like they are having more fun than if they were at a Six Flags or something!
I am in east Dallas [Mesquite} and we have had 3-4 inches :shrug: :thefinger
Supposed to play in a golf tournament tomorrow, don't think that is going to happen even though it will be 50. Going back up to 60's by Tuesday :shrug:
Got spoiled in January with all the 60-70 degree weather, even wearing shorts on the course and now this!
Will be gone by morning, so all of you great northern folks wishing this on us:thefinger

i remember every year when it snowed my friends and i would pray to see on the local news that our school district was closed for the day. i bet if you could harness all the power generated by the will of schoolchildren praying for closures it would be awesome. we would hide and throw snowballs at cars then run like the nazi stormtroopers were after us.
and now i freak out over having a mortgage. it just aint fair.

You're right Terryray, tough call between those two places, not to mention that neither city is exactly the nicest place in America. Lubbock is in the middle of absolute nowhere and Houston, as another poster (I think NYSportsfan) once said, is America's largest cesspool.

As fast as it came, it's going just as fast...My snowman is already down to a lump with some sticks. Well it was fun while it lasted. My kids had a blast in the snow. Maybe when they get old enough, I'll take them back home to Missouri to show them what real snow is like. Texas weather's such a cock tease!!!!!
