as a knicks fan i am thrilled to be rid of van horn. knicks get tim thomas and nazr mohammed, and give up only van horn in the three team deal. brilliant move by isiah if you ask me. knicks should end up no less than fourth or fifth in the east:D

i'm not sure why so many people hate on van horn?

i see what i can of the knicks so may be not as knowledgable about his game but from his numbers he is a pretty good player....

is it his defence that is his liability or the fact that he disappears from time to time?

but if it is the latter, then i have to disagree with people who hate on him cause all players who aren't superduperstars(KG, kobe, duncan) disappear here and there...and timmy thomas will be no different...

if its van horn's defence then kudos to isiah for pulling off so many deals to make the knicks a top eastern conference contender...wish the raptors gm was more like that :(

FIRE GLEN GRUNWALD PLEASE :moon:

Im a big Bucks fan & Im not a fan of this deal.

If there is a knock on Tim Thomas, its that he never takes the game over. He just lets it come to him & often has games where he just isnt in it. He tends to disappear.

Sounds a lot like Van Horn, except TT can D up. He has the quickness to stay with any 3 & the height to be a decent defender. That is where I think the Bucks will be hurt.

Im sure having Desmond Mason helped the Bucks pull the trigger. Thomas has been sitting during the 4th ofalmost every game. The only problem is Dez lacks the height to defend guys like Mashburn.

Oh well, hopefully this wont be another 2nd half slide for the Bucks while they try to figure the chemistry out all over again.

big knicks fan here, and I love the deal. bring in an athletic and versatile defender in thomas, and a serviceable big man in Mohamed, and Thomas fits in better with the running tendencies of Marbury, Isiah Thomas is a fawkin genius and has turned the whole team around, top to bottom they have as much talent as anyone in the east probably besides New Jersey and maybe Indiana, that being said, it's going to be tough to advance in the playoffs but with the right matchups they can win, either way they'll be a very tough out

"Isiah Thomas is a fawkin genius" Let's not get carried away

NY is playing better w/Marbury, but hell they got better players and a much better coach.
