I am not guaranteeing the game to cover, but I guarantee that Center Matt Nelson WILL PLAY for Colorado State tonight on Big Monday against BYU at home tonight. If any of you follow this team at all, which I dont really, I just do a lot of work into my handicapping, you will know that Matt Nelson is the key to this team having any chance to cover on many nights.

The reason he will play tonight is simple. Two reasons, really, he was quoted as saying that he would like to return last Saturday against Utah, which he didnt, or DEFINATLY on Big Monday against BYU, tonight.

Now, that may not hold much ground, but his father, who lives in Chicago bought tickets to the last 3 Ram games to see his son play in person. Nelson has sat the bench all of those 3 games. His father has to leave town tomorrow morning. So if Nelson doesnt play tonight, his father will have wasted that money. Nelson has said that he can run and climb stairs with no pain at all, so I am guaranteeing that he will play tonight.

With that being said......the Rams getting 6 points at home against a BYU team that has underachieved and is not good on the road, is SICK!

Keep an eye out, but if Nelson plays, the Rams will cover this number

if you find out that he is playing for sure then please post as i would agree that if he is in the lineup 6 is a gift but my sources are saying that he is extremely doubtful.

Yea....as I read the campus newspaper, they say doubtful as well. I am getting mixed signals here.....the guy seems like he is healthy enough to give it a go. If he doesnt go tonight on Big Monday with the crowd crazy, and his dad in attendance, then he needs to just hang it up for the year.

If anyone gets any heads up on this, please let us know, but I still have a suspicion that he will give it a go tonight.....

Well, I have looked at some different angles of this game, and I am still gonna put a bet down on the Rams tonight.....maybe not so big, but I still like them at home against a poor road team. I just wonder if this decision is up to Nelson.....
