played all of these overnight after all lines/totals came up:

stronger:
(2:00pm) butler/ohio university under 125.5 (get on it vinnie,lol)
(5:30pm) clev.state moneyline (+125) over e.michigan
(would still recommend csu even after line swing from +2 to -1. its a solid play in my opinion and line move is correct)

regular:
(10:30pm) pepperdine (pk) over loyola marymount
(9:00pm) oklahoma (+2) over texas
(3:00pm) east tennessee state (+3) over fresno state
(2:00pm) auburn (+3) over kentucky
(3:00pm) akron (-9) over drake

way more games than normal, but this is a great saturday even for non-bettors

===========EAST TENNESSEE STATE=============
simply feel etsu is the better team here. will be an interesting game because of the contrast in styles for both teams. fresno looking to play solid defense in the halfcourt. etsu gonna try and keep a fast pace to this game. the thing i like about this bucs team is that theyre very well balanced for a mid-major. theyve got 4 or 5 guys that can lead them in scoring on a given day. one caveat on this one: the two times ive bet east tennessee state were early in the season. games were against clemson and iupui. in the clemson game, they were up 7 with 0:50 to play. collapsed and went to OT where they got smashed. and then against iupui they were up 11 with 9:00 left and lost. i havent bet them since then -- which was like at christmas time. for the record- they havent lost in 2004. heres hoping they dont pick saturday as the day to break their streak. but im confident this veteran team will win this game.

==============PEPPERDINE==================
playing this game really for one reason: pepperdine absolutely owns loyola marymount. even though this is somewhat of a rivalry game, the waves have dominated loyola. pepperdine has won the last 11 meetings. waves also need this game to keep pace with st.marys for the #2 seed in the west coast conference tourney coming up. unless bo kimble and hank the bank suit up (god bless him ;) ) i think pepperdine should notch their 12th straight vs marymount.

==============OKLAHOMA===================
the more i look at this one, the more i like it. oklahoma just makes good sense here in my opinion. big time revenger for the sooners, as texas blasted them 66-37 a few weeks ago in austin. sooners coming off a terrible (and rare) home loss. and okie right now is on the bubble. this is a game they absolutely have to have to improve their resume. according to many, those good sooners wins early in the season wont hold much weight if they dont get some good wins down the stretch in big 12 play. it starts here, and i expect okie to exact some revenge on texas

================AKRON====================
not a whole lot of capping on this akron game- more of a gut feel kind of play. drake's defensive performances on the road have been lame and akron is capable of running them out of the JAR. having said that- zips havent exactly been a reliable chalk over the last few seasons, but i dont think they will have any problems here. not really concerned about a lookahead to kent because that game is a full week away. zips could put an 85-spot on drake

================AUBURN===================
auburn has been erratic to say the least during conference play. but for some reason, i am starting to develop an affinity for the tigers. i think theyre capable of being a sleeper in the sec tourney. i like they way they rebound the ball and get after it defensively. wouldnt be a huge "upset" but i expect the tigers to win the game. kentucky has been terrible in the 2h on the road this season.

I really like your Pepperdine play, and Akron play.

Also wondering what you think of Hawaii +11.5 vs. So. Illinois?
Seems like too many points. So. Illinois is a great team, but Hawaii has the talent to keep this one close, if not win outright.

i use pinnacle (www.pinnaclesports.com) for my overnight totals. olympic puts them up overnight as well (but not consistently)

===========================================

======== ==CLEVELAND STATE===============
put some thoughts on this game in 3seconds' thread from
yesterday. basically- this is how i see the game: eastern michigan
is definitely the better team. but emotion wins out here. vikings have had a horrific season with all their injuries and suspensions. its hard to believe that this is the same team (well, WAS the same team, until their roster was depleted) that led north carolina with under 2:00 to play earlier this season. its been a trying season- but garland and the vikings have made their intention clear for the last month-- they want to send jermaine robinson off with a home win. thats been their goal the last few games. and theyve come incredibly close, losing to wisconsin-green bay and butler on back-to-back buzzer beaters in the last few weeks at home. theyve put themselves in position to win but cant get over the hump. i think theyll find a way here. eastern michigan is not a team deserving of laying road chalk, even if its just 2 points. to their credit- after mailing in the 2h of their game against wisc-milwaukee a month ago, cleveland state has played hard in every game since then. to be honest, i expected them to quit on the season but they havent. robinson has done a lot for the program and i think the vikings sack up and find a way to get him a home win in his convocation center finale.

==============BUTLER UNDER================
ohio is one of those teams that does not establish their own tempo. they let the opponent dictate the tempo, and assuming they allow butler to do that, this one could be played in the 50s. bobcats played two extremely slow, half-court games vs miami,ohio this season (a team who, like butler, wants to slow it down big time). both those ou/miami games went into OT to push the numbers over the total, but the regulation scores were really low. obviously overtime could be a concern but still cant pass up this total. bobcats are very young and i dont know if they can survive halfcourt games back to back (coming off of miami game- and a loss in OT no less in the final 0:05-- and now playing another 1/2 court team). should be an ugly game in the high "one hundred teens"

Unfortunately, revenge isn't enough to overcome OU's horrible offense. Be a good sport and take Texas with me. :D

Seriously, that under 130.5 looks real tempting also. ;)

no consolation, but at least i feel like ive got a good read on some of these totals. but that one stings.

lowell:

its obvious that one is a loser. not particularly concerned with that one. not gonna win when your opponent shoots 21 FTs in the 1st half and you shoot 4. i aint gonna worry about it.

gotta just hope the night games go better to atone for the bad break on butler.

i just feel bad that csu is laying over in robinson's final home game. theyve talked all week about winning the game. but thats all its been -- talk.
