I will add more to this in the monring, when all oy matchups will be posted, but I can tell you this......

DODGE will rule this race. The downforce advantage that the Dodges have on the other cars is too much. There are some guys in other manufacturer rides that get around this track very well, but I am not sure they can overcome the disadvantage.

Jamie McMurray, Rusty Wallace are two guys that get around this track well anyways. Jeremy Mayfield should be a factor. A couple of rookies Kasey Kahne and Scott Wimmer will have good rides. And Scott Wimmer is pretty good at this track anyways. Sterling Marlin has been good at this track before.....not sure if he has what it takes to win, but may show well. Ryan Newman has a rocketship. If he has matured to manage this racetrack he should win it. I am not sure he has the patience to tame this racetrack. You can have the fastest racecar and not even sniff a win here.

Bobby LaBonte and Tony Stewart are excellent at this racetrack. It will be interesting to see if they can get out front.

STAY AWAY from the Roush cars. Kenseth and Busch may show well.....in fact they probably will, but they have an engine problem. Martin, Biffle and Burton all had bad engines last week, and who knows if any of the 5 guys will get a bum engine. it is not a chance you want to take. When the engine blows.....your money is gone.

So there is a start....hopefully these lines will be up soon

Another Steve: Hopefully I clarified enough on my assessment of Stewart and the Roush cars.

Stewart is excellent at this track, and it will be interesting to see if he can get out front. He is starting in the back and if you are not on your horse you will get lapped quickly. I dont think Tony will have this problem, but coming from the back is taxing on your vehicle. Tony....if he keeps his nose clean today is probably a Top 10 car...maybe a Top 5 car, I dont think he will win, and +800 for win odds is not very good.

The Roush cars all have great setups here and any one of the 5 can win. However, it is going to take huge balls to put your hard earned money on any of them. Any of them can blow at any time. Greg Biffle blew another Roush engine yesterday in the Busch race so that makes 4 engines in less than 2 weeks.....not good. So maybe Kenseth and Busch will blow up and you will win both of those! But dont be surprised if either of them contend for the win today.....they have excellent setups.

I should have more in a few minutes

Well here are my plays....... at BOWMANS

OUTRIGHTS

Rusty Wallace +2500 (Unfortunatly line is now +1500) Wagered 30 to win 750. At 15-1 this is still good odds.

Jamie McMurray +2000 (Line dropped to +1500 as well) Wagered 20 to win 400

Jeremy Mayfield +3000 Wagered 20 to win 600

*I may put some on Ryan Newman at +600, because he does have the fastest var in the short runs, no doubt about it. But if this is a long green flag race, I dont think Ryan will win today. +600 is a little steep for my taste unless he is dominating in all facets (Like Junior last week)

*As you can see, I am Dodge-heavy. I think a Dodge will win this race. A Roush car could win this race.....but play at your own risk. I would rank those Roush cars in this order......Kenseth, Busch, Biffle, Martin, J Burton......and the Top 3 have the ability to win the race. You can still get Biffle at +3000, and with him having the best AVERAGE SPEED in Happy Hour yesterday and his nice run in the Busch yesterday before blowing up, he may have a shot at this one.

MATCHUPS (In Order of Preference) at 5DIMES

Bobby LaBonte +110 over Dale Jr. (WTF??? Dale Jr. sucks at this track, has never had a Top 10 here and now he is favored over a driver that has ben extremly successful here over the years???? Dale Jr was about 25th AVERAGE SPEED in Happy Hour yesterday and will probably finish just a tad above that......LaBonte will be near the front all day....maybe not contending for a win, but will get his typical 4-9 finish at this track.

McMurray -165 over Sadler (McMurray, and it goes without saying, is very good here and has a great car. Sadler has a couple of strikes against him.....first, he sucks here, and second, he is using one of those Roush/Yates engines that have a tendency of blowing up. Either way -165 is short price to pay here.

Rudd -105 over R Gordon (Robby Gordon drives the rubber off his tires. His car is not that great in the short runs, while Ricky is an easy driver with experience. A recipe for success against a hot-rod like Robby. Robby had a nice run yesterday in the Busch.....I hope that is not a sign that he is maturing......based on the end of that race.....I doubt it.

Craven -110 over T LaBonte (Craven always finds his way to the front at this racetrack. Where speed and drafting friends dont matter, this loner can find his way to the front again. TLab has been good here in the past......but the past is the past. Look for Craven to finish around the 10-15 area.

Biffle -135 over Nemachek (Yea, I know, I am flirting with danger. But what are the chances that he gets a THIRD bad engine of the year??? He will finish at least ONE race wont he?? Nemachek has won here before....but his last 4 races here are a disaster. If Biffle finishes this race.....he wins this easy.

PROPS (5DIMES)

Wallace UNDER 9.5 POSITION -125

Junior OVER 10.5 POSITION -125

B LaBonte UNDER 10.5 POSITION -110

McMurray UNDER 9.5 POSITION -120

Sadler OVER 13.5 POSITION -130

Will look things over one more time to see if we will add anything

Sorry guys......but I added Greg Biffle at +3000......20 to win 600.

I figure sine I am taking mostly longer shots, I can take a few more drivers. Greg Biffle was the fastest in Happy Hour (Average Speed) and he was leading the Busch race yesterday, so he has the ability and I couldnt ignore 30-1!

Also......all of the matchups and props are risking 50.

GOOD LUCK TODAY

I'm with you, I'm glad there is a week off. I had McMurray at 20-1 for 3 units (crazy huh?) and Kahne as part of the field at 26-1 .5 unit. I think that I'm close to even thanks to matchups but this should have been a HUGE hit! Between the BS with the pit rules and Martin blocking for Kenseth, I felt like i was watching wrestling.
