not a good saturday. 3-5. gonna stick with totals for now, even though i got jammed on the butler under going into overtime (butler down 5 with 0:13 left in regulation and got it to OT  )
been lights out on totals lately and aint doing SHIT on game plays.

rutgers/boston college under 134.5

very simple logic on this one:

*both teams are subpar from the free throw line (ru 69%/bc 67%)

*these "early-start games" on sunday have seen a lot of unders. normally theres one big east game at 12:00 noon on sunday and it seems like both teams, no matter who they are, shoot low percentages

*most importantly: this game is enormous for both teams, since both rutgers and boston college are squarely on the bubble. this should have a tourney-type intensity and they defenses should control the game

really not even sure why i dont just stick to totals
this one stands out as well:

maryland/duke over 149

*first meeting this season was somewhat of a low-scoring anomaly (66-60).

*marylands defense has been porous on the road this season

*in the first meeting, maryland had a legitimate shot to win, so i think that accounted for a more spirited defensive effort. in this one, duke is going to try and throw an early knockout blow, and if they get up close to double digits in the first 10:00 or 15:00, it'll set a tone for the whole game and terps will have no choice but to run

*by and large this has been an up-tempo, high scoring series
