*getting down on byu sunday night at 5.5 sure helped
*texas/kansas total paid out. 11 of 12 totals. probably due for some clunkers
tuesday:
(strong) missouri moneyline (+110) over oklahoma state
(normal) virginia (+5.5) over north carolina
(normal) michigan state moneyline (+125) over michigan
add: (normal) east tennessee over 155
add: michigan state 2h (-2) over michigan (spartans make a run)
missouri:
*backing the team that actually has more talent, and making a late-season push. of course talent has never been the issue with the tigers. but in typical mizzou fashion, they look like shit for 3 months but then start to put it all together (seemingly out of nowhere) around conference tournament time.
virginia:
*carolina has no business laying those kind of points on the road with the defense theyve got. theyre letting up an obscene amount of points away from home and virginia is more than capable of winning the game straight up. cavaliers have held their own vs the acc elite at home the last few years. 'billet and the brothers' keep this one close.
michigan state
*wolverines finally made this a rivalry again with a win last year in ann arbor. but this series has been dominated by msu the last 5 years or so. spartans have won 9 of the L10 straight up (edit: originally posted the wrong stat). i think its asking a lot to have michigan lay chalk 2 days after a big win vs wisconsin, not to mention lay chalk to a team that has owned them of late. that being said, michigan state is no prize on the road, but they are the better team here. big time free throw edge as well (msu 77%/mich 68%). this one should be pick/msu -1 in my opinion
east tennessee over 155
*both teams have had some lower scoring games lately, but that can be attributed to the style of their opposition. fresno and the citadel really slowed the game down against etsu. but these are the 2 of the top 3 scoring teams in the southern conference, and both should welcome an uptempo game that is more their style. last 3 in this series have been track meets (82-80), (97-90) and (99-94)
and none of those games went into overtime. style of both teams + recent meetings + both teams being forced to slow it down lately should equal a shootout here, as both offenses should welcome a track meet with open arms.
